Job Title: Sr. Reliability Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY
Ensuring product meets the reliability specifications
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Quality Manager.
Engineering, Production, Procurement, Materials
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
No Field failure of ATMs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1> Responsible for Preparation of Reliability Test plans in accordance with the International test standards
2> Responsible for conducting Reliability tests on the products at in-house facility or at Reliability Laboratories
3> Responsible for MTBF, MTTR and RA (Repair Action) and CA (Customer actions) rates by usage of appropriate
Statistical software, like Weibull distribution etc.
4> Responsible for performing RGT and RDT tests on newly developed products. RGT is Reliability Growth Tests
and RDT is Reliability Demonstration tests.
5> Responsible for product performance from Design to Field.
6> Responsible for performing analysis of failures of products at each stage, from development stage to in
production to field failures and implementing appropriate solutions for performance enhancement,
7> Responsible for coordination with Global GDQA (Global Design and Quality Assurance Team) for implementing
global best practices in India.
8> Responsible for coordination with various test labs in India and abroad for testing of products for safety,
security, environment and performance tests.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be involved in any other tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
JOB & REQUIREMENT
Should be a Graduate Engineer (Electronics or Mechanical) with additional qualifications in Reliability
Engineering
Thorough understanding of international test standards, like IEC 60950 etc.
Through understanding of functioning of International Test Laboratories, like UL, TUV etc.
Should be familiar with the international certifications
Should be familiar with Electromechanical and Hardware software interface and should be able to resolve
problems
Strong Analytical ability is must
Should have thorough knowledge of Statistical tools
Should possess Six Sigma knowledge of problem solving.
