Objectives:
The objective of this project is as follows:
1. To provide student the opportunity to do an IS Strategic Plan of a certain
company.
2. The student would learned a new skill that will integrate all their learning
in business and Information Technology (IT).
3. To generate a high quality written report using Microsoft Word and
Microsoft PowerPoint or Flash summarizing the results of their research.
4. To present / defend their research paper and demo their implemented
automation database software.

Deliverables:
On or before September 16 (Wednesday) at the beginning of class, I should
have received the following:
Preliminary Title
Company Name
Brief Company Background
Current System of the Company (manual or automated)
A thesis statement expressing the central idea or theme of your IS Plan
Partial set of references (to make sure that you have adequate materials to
pursue the topic).
Submit the STAPLED (NOT paper clipped) bond paper WITHOUT folder nor
envelope.
Note: You will be informed in our next class session on the status of your topic /
outline (i.e., whether it is approved or rejected, suggestions, comments,
etc.)
On November 12, 2015 - Thursday (on or before 12 noon). I should have
received the following:
Title Page (follow the Project Title Page format)
2 copies of Grading Sheet (bond paper) Write down the group number,
group name (if any), names of the group members, section, title of your IS
Plan, and please copy the criteria on the grading sheet.
Complete set of documents (should be Soft or Ring Bounded)
CD (non rewrittable WORM branded) which contain *.doc (for
documentation) - should be in following format : exec.doc, append.doc,
chap1.doc, chap2.doc and so on, *.ppt file (for slides presentation), *.dbf (for
databases), source program, *.exe (for executable program). Label properly
your group number, name of the group members, course, subject, section,
and professors name in the sticker. Please label your diskette (e.g. 1 of disk
10 )
Insert your CD, grading sheet and final document in a long expanding
envelope or paper bag, together.
Note : Wait for further announcement on your Presentation / Demo Defense
schedule for the MISBUSI Project. 1 hour presentation defense for each
group. You have to use Microsoft PowerPoint or Flash.

B. Automation Software Program / Technical Manual & Users Manual (BONUS)


You have to ensure that your program is 100 % bug free complete running
software (based on your proposed system).
Note:
Strictly wearing business attire during the presentation defense
Late papers / project will not be accepted and shall receive a grade of 0.0
Copying of others work is strictly prohibited and punishable by a grade of 0.0
for the course
For every instruction not followed, 5 points will be deducted from the total
score
