THE ORIGINAL WALTHER P99 SERIES P99AS & P99QA

The WALTHER P99 polymer pistol is an international favorite
for military, police and other government agencies through-
out the world. The internal striker fired P99 offers numerous
features including a red-painted striker tip that extends from
the rear of the slide when the gun is cocked. There is also a
Loaded Chamber Indicator on the slide that protrudes when
loaded. The P99 has adjustable sights for both windage and
elevation, tool-less takedown and is available in full size and
compact models.
The P99 also offers two unique trigger systems in the
P99 Anti Stress and P99 Quick Action. As the first pistol
equipped with a firing pin lock, the P99AS combines
the advantages of traditional double action pull with
the Single Action Stress trigger and a decocking button
integrated directly into the slide to decock the striker.
The P99QA, with its uniform short trigger pull and quick
reset allows for quick shot delivery. The striker is partially
pre-cocked and when the trigger is pulled the striker be-
comes fully cocked and releases when firing. For more

11 and 12.

QUIcK ACTION
The Name Says It All: Lightning-Fast Firing
The P99 Quick Action pistol with uniform short trigger pull is the
choice for both law enforcement tactical teams and competitive
shooters. The P99QA hammerless pistol is capable of being disas-
sembled without the need to pull the trigger. Simply remove the P99QA BLACK
magazine, clear the chamber, press the takedown button and slide the WAP77022 – 9MM, 10 ROUND
takedown catch to remove the slide. The trigger mechanism incorpo- WAP77013 – 9MM, 15 ROUND
WAP78022 – .40 S&W, 10 ROUND
rates a striker system that is partially pre-cocked. When the trigger WAP78013 – .40 S&W, 12 ROUND
is pulled, the striker becomes fully cocked and released, firing the
pistol. With approximately .31 inches of trigger travel and 8 lbs. of
trigger force, the short trigger pull and reset provides quick shot
delivery, especially in competitive situations.

The P99 COMPACT models have the same advanced design features as their full-size counterparts, but in a smaller profile ideal
for backup or concealment. Just like the full-size version, both the AS and QA trigger variations are available. The frame backstraps
remain interchangeable to fit a variety of hand sizes. The hammerless striker systems and built-in safeties of the P99 remain
standard. Each P99 Compact features a rounded frame to prevent clothing snags. The pistol comes equipped
with a flat-bottom magazine and finger-rest magazine butt plate as well as a Weaver-style rail molded into
the frame to accept lights and lasers.

THE P99AS
Traditional Double Action with Anti Stress Mode
By integrating a Single Action Anti Stress trigger into its design,
the Double Action P99AS helps reduce unintentional “reflex”
firing in stressful situations. After the slide has been pulled
completely to the rear, the trigger remains in the forward P99AS BLACK
position for the first shot. This reduced the possibility of WAP77000 – 9MM, 10 ROUND
inadvertent firing not only in the double action trigger mode, but WAP77010 – 9MM, 15 ROUND
WAP78000 – .40 S&W, 10 ROUND
also in the single action mode. As a result, the trigger travel is WAP78011 – .40 S&W, 12 ROUND
.55” long in the anti stress mode with 4.4 lbs of trigger force that
helps to reduce inadvertent firing. On all subsequent shots, the
trigger travel is reduced to .314” with the same trigger force for
classic P99 quick reset firing.
