AQUASWEEP CRW85838 Pipeline Hydrotest Inhibitor Cocktail

Reduces risk of bacteria in pipeline hydrostatic testing and layup water

Application
The AQUASWEEP CRW85838 pipeline
hydrostatic test cocktail is a water soluble
blend of filming amines, a filming quaternary
salt and an oxygen scavenger, formulated
for a broad application in the oil and gas
market. It is water soluble and oil dispersible.
In addition to providing corrosion and fouling
protection against carbon dioxide and
organic acids, the cocktail can be used in the
performance of hydrotesting pipelines during
pre-commissioning services and laying a
pipeline in wet stagnant conditions.
The AQUASWEEP CRW85838 inhibitor cocktail
absorbs oxygen and inhibits the development
of bacteria-related corrosion. This includes
microbial-influenced corrosion (MIC) caused
by oxygen, sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB), or
other bacteria in the hydrotest water or preexisting bacteria in the pipeline. The inhibitor
