You are responsible for obtaining access to the book/video you select. These are all
available through the Arlington Public Library, but they do not have many copies. They
are generally available through Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com and probably at HalfPrice Books as well. (www.abebooks.com is also another option.)
If you have a different hard science science-fiction book (involving planetary/lunar
exploration) you would like to use instead, I will consider it. I will not consider any
other movies. If funds are truly a concern and the library is not an option, I have a few
copies of Have Space SuitWill Travel or Higher Education that you can check out.
This assignment will count as a project grade. While I might be able to give you class time
to read or work on it, I am making no promises. You will have almost four full weeks;
please use your time wisely. Your project will be graded using the following rubric (grades
will total 125/100/80, depending on your book source):
