A vacancy exists within the Contract Mining Bengalon Department for the position of Engineer
Mining. Those who are interested in and meet the requirement for this position are invited to apply.

Key elements of the position include:

The position is responsible for the timely provision and accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly
production report of mining contractors physical production and equipment utilisation/productivity
information.
Manage, coordinate and evaluate Contractor and KPC survey team for Joint Survey activities to
obtain reliable measurement of contractor activities for payment purposes.
Prepare monthly survey reconcile and survey certificate.
Design, scheduling and forecasting pit and dump for a year plan to achieve the yearly target including
dump balances, cycle time, haul distance, and equipment parameter.
Prepare 8 Week Rolling Plan.
With guidance of Snr. Mining Engineer, check all short term design and coordinate with geotechnical
section for design assessment.
Liaise with all other Divisions within the KPC organisation in terms of service performance, legal,
financial and commercial administration of all mining contractor agreement issued by KPC.
Implement and embed the KPC safety system standards, elements and procedures into the
Contract Mining Section and Contractors as required by KPC Standards.

Qualifications:

Mining Engineering / Civil Engineering / Geology Engineering degree or similar qualifications.

Minimum 2 years experiences in mining (min. 1 year in technical planning) preferably open pit
experience.
Excellent skill of Microsoft office software (especially in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point).
Experience in mining software (especially in MINEX is an advantage) for design pit, dump, and
scheduling.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Driving License.
Demonstrate conceptual skills.
Excellent planning, analytical, and organization skills.
Good inter-personal and people management skills.
Ability to manage and resolve conflict situations.
Familiar with KPC policies, procedures, systems and regulations.
