Follow-me AVBL O/R.
Parking
Pilots will receive INFO concerning stand (entry, pier and number). Follow main taxi lines and adhere to
route-indications for APN and stand. Crossing of red boundary line only after VIS contact with marshaller
or activated VIS docking guidance system has been established.
At all parking PSN except B61-B95, G71 nose-in parking and push-back PROC are applicable.
VDGS or marshaller mandatory, except self docking stands.
Stand D2 no VDGS but Marshaller assistance AVBL.
Stand D2, D4 push-back of B767 and larger ACFT between C11 and C13 via TWY A5.
Stand D3, D5 push-back into TWY A10.
Stand D7, D43 B757 and larger ACFT push-back into TWY A10.
Stand D8 B767 and larger ACFT push-back between C11 and C13 via TWY A8 and TWY A5.
Stand E2, E4 push-back into TWY A10.

APU
The use of APU and GPU is strictly controlled at stands:
B13/15/17/23/27/31/35, B16/20/24/28/32/36/, D2/4/10/12, D3/5/7/41/43/47/49/51/53/55/57, all F,
G and H stands. Where AVBL, 400Hz power unit must be used. For cooling and heating purposes,
pre-conditioned air units (PCA) shall be used. APU restricted to MAX 5min after on-block and MAX 10min
before off-block. On all other stands ACFT are requested not to use APU.
Exceptions:
- When it is necessary to use an APU to diagnose and/or rectify ACFT faults. Prior permission must be
obtained from Airside Operations Office, phone: +31 (0)20 601 2115.
- When 400Hz power units and/or PCA units are not operative or not AVBL. Prior permission must be
obtained from Airside Operations Office, phone: +31 (0)20 601 2115.
- When outside temperature is below -5C or above +25C (according METAR).

Lido 2014

Warning
A bird deterring green laser system may be in operation H24 abeam RWY 18L/36R. Use caution due to
surface reflections, especially during twilight and/or cloudy weather COND.
Due environmental influences windreport for RWY 36R is not representative for windconditions at TDZ;
windspeed from sector 080-120 is underestimated up to 15%.
Do not mistake highway W of RWY 18C/36C for RWY 18C/36C.
Compass deviation may occur when parked at stands of E-pier, in area between E-pier and F-pier, or
when following TWYs in vicinity of E-pier.
Birds in vicinity of AD.
Caution for jet blast
Using following RWY combinations a jetblast hazard exists:
- LDG RWY 09 and DEP RWY 18L from INT TWY E5.
- LDG RWY 27 and DEP RWY 18L from INT TWY E5.
- LDG RWY 36R and DEP RWY 24.
- DEP RWY 18L and DEP RWY 24.
- DEP RWY 18L from INT TWY E5 and DEP or LDG RWY 27.
- DEP RWY 18L from INT TWY E5 and DEP or LDG RWY 27.
- DEP RWY 24 and LDG RWY 36R.

Lido 2014

Communication
On initial contact:
- with APCH/ARR report call-sign only.
- with TWR report call-sign and RWY.
Contact GND (without ATC instructions) immediately after vacating RWY.
COM Failure
Inbound clearance not received: Proceed according current flight plan to appropriate HLDG fix
(SUGOL, RIVER, ARTIP). Maintain last cleared and acknowledged FL. Intercept HLDG pattern, start
descend to FL70 at or as near as possible to ETO. After reaching FL70 leave HLDG fix and carry out APCH
to received and acknowledged RWY, or to main LDG RWY according ATIS.
TFC via STAR: Proceed according current flight plan to appropriate HLDG fix (SUGOL, RIVER, ARTIP) at
last cleared and acknowledged FL. Intercept HLDG pattern. Start descend to FL70 at EAT last received
and acknowledged or when no EAT received as near as possible to ETO at HLDG fix. After reaching FL70
leave HLDG fix and carry out APCH to assigned or main LDG RWY according ATIS.
TFC via EELDE B, NORKU B and REKKEN B: Proceed to NARSO at last cleared and acknowledged FL.
Intercept HLDG pattern, start descend to FL70 at EFCT (Expected Further Clearance Time) last received
and acknowledged or when no EFCT received as near as possible to ETO NARSO. After reaching FL70
leave NARSO and intercept R070 SPL inbound to ARTIP and carry out APCH to assigned RWY, or main
LDG RWY according ATIS.
TFC outside STAR: Proceed to SPL VOR along route specified in inbound clearance. Maintain last
cleared and acknowledged FL. Over SPL VOR intercept HLDG pattern to received and acknowledged RWY
or main LDG RWY according ATIS. Descend to FL70 (if necessary), leave HLDG at FL70 and carry out
APCH to assigned RWY.
TFC on transition, without APCH CLR: Proceed to NARIX (ARTIP 2C TR) or NIRSI (ARTIP, RIVER, SUGOL
3B TR) or SOKSI (ARTIP, RIVER, SUGOL 2A TR) to SPL VOR, maintain last cleared and acknowledged FL.
Intercept HLDG to received and acknowledged RWY. In HLDG descend to FL70, after reaching FL70 carry
out APCH to RWY concerned.
TFC vectored on ARR RTE: Proceed in most direct manner to the route specified in inbound clearance
and carry out procedure described above.
TFC vectored to final: Proceed to final APCH beacon or intermediate fix (IF) of main LDG RWY at last
received and acknowledged LVL. Descend (if necessary) to 2000ft AMSL after arriving over beacon or
fix (IF) in an outbound turn and intercept final APCH.

descend to 2000ft MSL in the outbound turn and start another APCH.
RWY 09 VOR/DME : On 085 (R-265 PAM) to 2000ft MSL, LT to SPL to cross SPL at 3000ft MSL and
start another APCH.
RWY 18C ILS CAT I/II/III; DME, NDB, SRE: On 183 to 1500ft MSL, RT to OA to cross OA at 3000ft MSL.
After OA descend to 2000ft MSL in the outbound turn and start another APCH.
RWY 18R ILS CAT I/II/III, VOR/DME: RT ASAP onto R-280 SPL and do not overshoot R-240 SPL. At D7.5
SPL RT to cross SPL at 3000ft and start another APCH
RWY 18R SRE: At MAPt RT to intercept R-280 SPL and do not overshoot R-240 SPL. Climb to 3000ft
AMSL. At 2000ft AMSL start a right climbing turn to SPL so as to cross SPL at 3000ft AMSL and hold
or execute start another APCH.
RWY 22 ILS CAT I: LT ASAP to 160 to 2000ft MSL, LT to SPL to cross SPL at 3000ft MSL and start
another APCH.
RWY 24: LT to 238 to 2000ft MSL, RT to SPL to cross SPL at 3000ft MSL and start another APCH.
RWY 27 ILS CAT I/II/III: On 267 to 2000ft MSL, RT to WP to cross WP at 3000ft MSL. After WP descend
to 2000ft MSL in the outbound turn and start another APCH.
RWY 27 VOR/DME: On 265 to 2000ft MSL, RT to PAM to cross PAM at 3000ft MSL. After PAM descend
to 2000ft MSL in the outbound turn and start another APCH.
RWY 36C ILS I/II/III; VOR/DME: To OA, LT to SPL to cross SPL at 3000ft MSL and start another APCH.
RWY 36R ILS CAT I/II/III; NDB: On 003 to 1500ft MSL, RT to NV to cross NV at 3000ft MSL. After NV
descend to 2000ft MSL in the outbound turn and start another APCH.
Arrival Procedure
Initial APCH CLR: After initial APCH CLR (including CLR limit and LVL instructions) the MNM FL for all
TFC inbound Schiphol AD proceeding via STAR is FL070 at TMA BDRY. Flights inbound Schiphol
departing from AD situated in FIR and intending to operate at 3000ft or below should obtain an EAT from
Schiphol APCH before DEP. Leave HLDG fix at time specified in CLR, if no time specified, ASAP.
Noise Abatement Procedures
For RWY 06 and RWY 18R RNAV low-noise PROC, CDA, for jet ACFT will be used between 2130-0530,
otherwise ACFT will be radar vectored towards interception of final at 3000ft AMSL. Executing a CDA
implies that after NIRSI, NARIX or SOKSI a continuously descending flight path without LVL segments
is to be flown in a low PWR and low drag configuration. A flight paath is considered continuously
descending when there is no LVL segment. A segment is considered LVL if the ALT loss is less than 50ft
over a distance of 2.5NM.
For NAP using a reduced flaps LDG is recommended. However, use of this PROC is subject to captains
decision and safety prevails at all times.
ILS AVBL:
- Intercept ILS using MNM flap settings with LDG gear retracted.
- Select gear down after passing 2000ft.
- Postpone selection of MNM certified LDG flap setting until passing 1200ft.

Inbound clearance not received: Proceed according current flight plan to appropriate HLDG fix
(SUGOL, RIVER, ARTIP). Maintain last cleared and acknowledged FL. Intercept HLDG pattern, start
descend to FL70 at or as near as possible to ETO. After reaching FL70 leave HLDG fix and carry out APCH
to received and acknowledged RWY, or to main LDG RWY according ATIS.
TFC via STAR: Proceed according current flight plan to appropriate HLDG fix (SUGOL, RIVER, ARTIP) at
last cleared and acknowledged FL. Intercept HLDG pattern. Start descend to FL70 at EAT last received

and acknowledged or when no EFCT received as near as possible to ETO NARSO. After reaching FL70
leave NARSO and intercept R070 SPL inbound to ARTIP and carry out APCH to assigned RWY, or main
LDG RWY according ATIS.
TFC outside STAR: Proceed to SPL VOR along route specified in inbound clearance. Maintain last
cleared and acknowledged FL. Over SPL VOR intercept HLDG pattern to received and acknowledged RWY
or main LDG RWY according ATIS. Descend to FL70 (if necessary), leave HLDG at FL70 and carry out
APCH to assigned RWY.
TFC on transition, without APCH CLR: Proceed to NARIX (ARTIP 2C TR) or NIRSI (ARTIP, RIVER, SUGOL
3B TR) or SOKSI (ARTIP, RIVER, SUGOL 2A TR) to SPL VOR, maintain last cleared and acknowledged FL.
Intercept HLDG to received and acknowledged RWY. In HLDG descend to FL70, after reaching FL70 carry

While circling to land: Complete the turn to the intended LDG RWY. Intercept the MT of the intended
LDG RWY and execute the published MISAP in case of COM failure for that RWY.
Arrival Procedure
Initial APCH CLR: After initial APCH CLR (including CLR limit and LVL instructions) the MNM FL for all
TFC inbound Schiphol AD proceeding via STAR is FL070 at TMA BDRY. Flights inbound Schiphol
departing from AD situated in FIR and intending to operate at 3000ft or below should obtain an EAT from
Schiphol APCH before DEP. Leave HLDG fix at time specified in CLR, if no time specified, ASAP.
Noise Abatement Procedures
For RWY 06 and RWY 18R RNAV low-noise PROC, CDA, for jet ACFT will be used between 2130-0530,
otherwise ACFT will be radar vectored towards interception of final at 3000ft AMSL. Executing a CDA
implies that after NIRSI, NARIX or SOKSI a continuously descending flight path without LVL segments
is to be flown in a low PWR and low drag configuration. A flight path is considered continuously
descending when there is no LVL segment. A segment is considered LVL if the ALT loss is less than 50ft
over a distance of 2.5NM.
For NAP using a reduced flaps LDG is recommended. However, use of this PROC is subject to captains
decision and safety prevails at all times.
ILS AVBL:
- Intercept ILS using MNM flap settings with LDG gear retracted.
- Select gear down after passing 2000ft.
- Postpone selection of MNM certified LDG flap setting until passing 1200ft.

TWY A between A19 and A20 is used as HLDG PSN for de-icing OPS on the J-APN. Avoid HLDG on the
upslope between A19 and A20 to prevent unintentional backward movement of ACFT. High PWR settings
may cause jet blast damage. Advise ATC if unable to comply with taxi CLR.
De-Icing Procedures
Snowdesk allocates de-icing PSN and regulate outbound flow for KLM de-icing customers only. Other
customers will be instructed by ground handling companies.
Following PROCs will be used at central de-icing facility (CDF) on J-APN and at P-holding:
- Contact Snowdesk for de-icing REQ.
- Request ATC CLR 20min before ETD or 35min before CTOT.
- When ready for push-back, report "ready" to Snowdesk.
- When instructed by Snowdesk, contact start-up.
- GND will give taxi INSTR to the central de-icing facility (CDF) or the P-holding (P1,P3)
- Padcontrol is responsible for sequencing and spot assignment on CDF only, maintain separation from
other ACFT at own discretion.
- When signboards AVBL, continue with signboard PROC, or;
- When signboards not AVBL, continue with voice only PROC.

and to adhere to published SID.
There is a loss of line-up distance of at least 200m / 656ft when choosing an intersection TKOF with
intersection angle of 30 (rapid TWY).
