BACKGROUND
PREVALENCE DEGENERATIF DISEASE IN INDONESIA
Degenerative disease is the number one killer in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the increasing prevalence of type 2
diabetes mellitus is increasingly rise of 1.1 percent in 2007 to 2.1 percent in 2013. One of the main factors is the
wrong lifestyle, starting from the selection of the wrong foods early in life. These factors include the time of the
introduction of foodstuffs to children
METHODOLOGY
META ANALYSIS
Generally, children who were aged 2 years and under have been introduced to foods containing sugar and salt.
Selection of these foods continuously can lead to obesity and degenerative diseases. Besides other adverse effects on
the immune system is that there would be decreases and the child will get sick. Hence the need for a change in
lifestyle gradually and thoroughly
RESULTS/DISCUSSION
REVIEW CONCEPT
Program No Salt and No Sugar is a concept that refers to health programs government programs SUN (Scaling Up
Nutrition) which focus on changing the mindset of people about a healthy lifestyle in the first 1,000 days of life
since the fetus. As for the SUN program will focus on the 730 days of the 1,000 days since the fetus. 730 days is
when the child first 2 years of life. At this age children will be introduced to eat foods with natural flavors. The
introduction course begins with a sense of exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months and then continued with the
introduction of other foods through complementary feeding (Food Companion Breastfeeding) without added sugar
and salt until the child is 2 years old. This movement refers to the concept of Indonesia Mengajar that proved
successful in managing community. Thus the program will be the implementation of lifestyle changes that started
early as a whole and stages for a healthy lifestyle and a decrease in degenerative diseases
