4. First-aid measures
General advice:
Immediately remove contaminated clothing.
If inhaled:
If difficulties occur after vapour/aerosol has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical
attention.
On skin contact:
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
On contact with eyes:
Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open,
consult an eye specialist.
On ingestion:
Rinse mouth immediately and then drink plenty of water, seek medical attention.

5. Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray, carbon dioxide, dry extinguishing media
Unsuitable extinguishing media for safety reasons:
foam
Special protective equipment:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.

6. Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental precautions:
Do not empty into drains.
Methods for cleaning up or taking up:
For large amounts: Pump off product.
Pick up with suitable absorbent material. Collect waste in suitable containers, which can be labeled
and sealed. Incinerate or take to a special waste disposal site in accordance with local authority
regulations.
Additional information: High risk of slipping due to leakage/spillage of product.

7. Handling and storage

Handling
Ensure thorough ventilation of stores and work areas.
Protection against fire and explosion:
Prevent electrostatic charge - sources of ignition should be kept well clear - fire extinguishers should
be kept handy.
Storage
Further information on storage conditions: Containers should be stored tightly sealed in a dry place.
Store protected against freezing.

8. Exposure controls and personal protection

Personal protective equipment

Respiratory protection:
Respiratory protection in case of vapour/aerosol release. Particle filter with medium efficiency for solid
and liquid particles (e.g. EN 143 or 149, Type P2 or FFP2)
Hand protection:
Chemical resistant protective gloves (EN 374)
Suitable materials also with prolonged, direct contact (Recommended: Protective index 6,
corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374):
natural rubber/natural latex (NR) - 0.5 mm coating thickness
Manufacturer's directions for use should be observed because of great diversity of types.

Supplementary note: The specifications are based on tests, literature data and information of glove
manufacturers or are derived from similar substances by analogy. Due to many conditions (e.g.
temperature) it must be considered, that the practical usage of a chemical-protective glove in practice
may be much shorter than the permeation time determined through testing.
Eye protection:
Safety glasses with side-shields (frame goggles) (e.g. EN 166)
Body protection:
light protective clothing, thick material
General safety and hygiene measures:
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing. Wearing of closed work clothing is required additionally
to the stated personal protection equipment. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and
safety practice. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Hands and/or face should be washed
before breaks and at the end of the shift. Store work clothing separately.
