This British Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee WEE/Z and is
the English language version of EN 876 : 1995Destructive tests on welds in
metallic mter2als - Longitudinul tensile test on weld metal inf&on welded
joints published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
EN 876 was produced as a result of international discussions in which the United
Kingdom took an active part.
EN 876 : 1995 supersedes tests detailed in BS 709 : 1983 which will be
amended.
