Exercise 2 (Framework)

Discussion:
Based on the topic that we have learned, which is to understand Aautocad
commands and data input techniques the labwork 2 had be given by the lecturer. We
learned how to creat drawing by using coordinate entry. It is,AutoCAD provides
various commands that we use to locate points in the drawing plane. We can creat a
drawing by using Random point technique,Absolute coordinate technique,Relative
coordinate technique and Polar coordinate technique. For Random point technique,we
can specify a relative coordinate by moving the cursor in the desired direction and then
entering a distance. Coordinate value are specified by moving the cursor to indicate a
direction and then entering the distance from the first point. This is useful when you
need to quickly specify a length. An efficient way to create object constrained to the
current axes is to use direct distance entry combined with Ortho mode turn on.
Besides, for Absolute coordinate technique,Autocad uses points to determine
where an object is located. There is an origin where it begins counting from. This point
is(0,0).To enter a point just enter in the exact point as X,Y.The other technique is
Relative coordinate. This technique allows you to enter points in relation to the first
point you have entered. After youve entered one point, the next would be entered as
@X,Y.This means that Autocad will draw a line from the first point to another point X
units over and Y units up relative to the previous point. For another technique is Polar
coordinate which is we would use this system if you know that you want to draw a line
certain distance at a particular angle. We would enter this as @D<A.in the case,D is the
distance aand A is the angle.

Conclusion:
Based on the labwork that we made, students should be able to use AutoCAD
commands are entered using various input devices.Other then that student
should be able to key in data by using the Random,Absolute,Relative and Polar
coordinate technique.Lastly, student should be able to compare the
Random,Absolute,Relative and Polar coordinate technique of data input.
