Math – Week of 3/22
This week students are Your child is beginning a chapter on probability—the

HELPING VERBS.

THE NEXT BOOK RESPONSE WILL REQUIRE EACH THIRD


GRADER TO RESEARCH AND LEARN ABOUT ANOTHER STATE
IN THEUSA. THEN SHARE WHAT HE/SHE HAS LEARNED IN
A REPORT THAT WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE CLASS. AS A
CULMINATING ACTIVITY, STUDENTS WILL CREATE A SHOEBOX
SIZED FLOAT WITH ITEMS REPRESENTING THE STATE THAT
HE/SHE STUDIED. DETAILS REGARDING THIS ASSIGNMENT
ARE ATTACHED.
