Located next to City Park, Greer City Hall is home


to Administrative, Finance, Building and Development
Standards and Events Offices. The entire second floor
has space for events and Greer City Council meetings.

The City of Greer has more than 20 parks


available to residents, including the popular
Kids Planet at Century Park and Greer City
Park. Smaller neighborhood parks allow
children to play close to their homes.

Greer City Park is a fun place to play.


The Park Fountain is colored for special
occasions and dances to music.

City of Greer firefighters are always ready


to help in case there is an emergency.

City of Greer police officers including K-9


officers Boss and Stryker patrol the city
to keep residents safe.

The Mayor is elected at-large, meaning he


represents ALL City of Greer residents.
He presides over Greer City Council,
represents the city at special events and
presents proclamations and keys to the
city to recognize honors and achievements.

to walk and enjoy quiet time in a swing

ABOUT THE ARTIST


A native of Greer, S.C., Roy Miller is an illustrator in the classic tradition. Educated in illustration
and interior design at the Philadelphia College of Art, his work has graced the covers of the
Strawbridge & Clothier Christmas catalog and has appeared in the Toronto Star, Ebony, the
Saturday Evening Post childrens magazines, Inside Magazine, the Jewish Exponent, and The
Greer Citizen. His work has been highlighted at the Greer Heritage Museum and an example of
his building artwork hangs in the Greer State Bank boardroom.
