ProductEngineeringislookingforapassionateexperiencedEngineertojointheirteamasaProductEngineer.Aspartofthe
ProductEngineeringDepartmentyouwillbecometheMercedesHPPspecialistforkeycomponents/systemsonourPowerUnit,and
willbethereforebewhollyresponsiblefortheassociatedengineeringtasksfrominitialideathroughtothelastraceofthe
championship,includingproblemsolvingandfailureanalysis.

Thejourneyencompassesconceptualdesign,structural/thermalanalysisanddesignreleaseincludingthecreationofdocumentation
tosupportcontrolofthebillofmaterials.InadditiontheProductEngineerisresponsiblefordefiningspecifictestsinordertoapprove
theircomponents/systemsforuse,andshouldcloseoutthistaskthroughthewritingoftechnicalreportstosummarisetheirfindings.

Inthisrole,theProductEngineerisempoweredtoactautonomously,ensuringaccountabilityandownershipforthetaskinhandtodrive
arightfirsttimesolutiontakingintoaccountperformance,obsolescence,cost&otherkeyprogrammemetrics

Roleresponsibilities

Creationandvalidationofnovelengineeringdesignsolutionssupportedbyrightfirsttimeprincipalsandanalysisworktomeet
demandingperformanceandcosttargets.
Creationofrobustandversatilemodelstodemonstrateconceptsbothinsolidsandsurfaces,withengineeringdrawingsto
complementdesignrelease.
