are used by every industry. Bolt is a piece of metal rod, whose one end is unsettled and other
end is threaded. Nut is the item, which rolls on these threads.
Quality of bolts depends on the composition of various elements in raw material. According
to the composition required there are total 17 grades of raw material available. Grade is

Vision & Values

Future Plans
We are concentrating more on special / sophisticated fasteners, where there is a tremendous
potential and we almost 2/3rd of our revenue from special fasteners within the next three
years. The remaining would be from standard fasteners and nuts

Manufacturing Facilities

Technological innovations in engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located

in New Delhi have helped us meet the demands of a dynamic market scenario. By using some
of the finest machinery imported from the world over, we at STL Fasteners can today produce over 50
million pieces a month. 400 new products are also added to our manufacturing range every year.
In addition to this, web enabled
ERP will soon facilitate our
becoming a one-stop shop for all
our clients' fastener needs.

With the expertise of over two decades, our manufacturing facility today includes state-ofthe-art annealing, cold forging, inline rolling, heat treatment, finishing/coating, CNC turning,
centre less grinding, circular thread rolling and other secondary operations. In addition, we
have also introduced a complete range of multi station headers with automatic motorised
adjustment systems that facilitate smooth and fast job changes.

Induction hardening of critical fasteners, use of sophisticated in-line hardening and tempering
furnaces with auto-load, pre-wash and post-washers, and the manufacture of special fasteners
with very close tolerance are key features of our manufacturing process. Our finishing

operations with hydrogen embrittlement facilities also include complete waste treatment
processes that bring us a step closer to an eco-friendly environment.

Technology
To meet the demands of a dynamic new business environment and ensure speedy responses to
customer needs, we have created a seamless network of information systems across various
departments.
Our successful implementation of the ERP software can be regarded as a pioneering effort
within the industry. It has enabled us to realise many of our long term goals and set an
example for others to follow.
Within the next year, we hope to realise our dreams of web enabling our ERP. This will prove
to be an invaluable tool for our network of customers as it will empower them with the ability
to check the status of their orders, anywhere, anytime
Realising that the success of a fastener depends on the quality of design, we put great
emphasis on design technology and development. Our highly motivated team of engineers
make optimum use of the latest CAD 2000 to design the tools that go into the making of a
fastener.
With over 40 to 45 different tools and dies involved in the design and manufacture of a single
kind of fastener, this is a highly specialized and critical field which demands perfection and
settles for little else. Our development team adds 300 new products to our manufacturing
range every year simply by keeping abreast of the latest developments in the world of
fasteners and exploring their potential.
The result, an entirely new generation of fasteners including six lobe fasteners, Gimlet points
and a variety of combination screws
