Aughinish Alumina Refinery for the design and supply of two shop-assembled steam generators located
at the alumina facility. Foster Wheeler will design and supply the package steam generators including
auxiliary equipment and technical advisory services for the project. The two steam generators will be
designed to generate a total of 300 tons per hour of reliable, high-pressure superheated steam which will

PUNTA ARENAS, CHILE: A subsidiary of the Global Engineering and Construction Group has
been awarded a contract by Pecket Energy to perform feasibility, conceptual and basic engineering
studies, and develop an overall investment costs estimate for a substitute natural gas (SNG) production
facility. The main objective of the project is to produce syngas that will be used as a clean feedstock
for the production of SNG, which gas is intended to be distributed to the existing grid in the region of
Magallanes, Chile for domestic consumption or for industrial purposes.

awarded a contract by Daelim Industries Co., Ltd. for the design and supply of one circulating
fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generator for the SM200 Phase 1 Coal Fired Power Station for Sarangani
Energy Corporation, a joint venture between Alsons Consolidated Resources, Inc. and Toyota Group.
Foster Wheeler will design and supply the 100 MWe (net megawatt electric) CFB steam generator plus
auxiliary equipment for the project.
UNITED KINGDOM: The Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a study
contract by the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI). The five month study will assess the economics of
flexible power generation systems which involve the production of hydrogen from coal, biomass or
natural gas, the intermediate storage of hydrogen (for example in underground salt caverns) and the
production of power in flexible turbines. Foster Wheeler will execute the study in collaboration with
the British Geological Survey.

BLAYDIN POINT, NORTHERN TERRITORY, AUSTRALIA: The Global Power Group has been
awarded a contract by the joint venture comprised of CH2M Australia Pty Ltd. and UGL Engineering
Pty Ltd. for the design and supply of three utility package steam generators located at the Ichthys
Project onshore LNG facilities. The three steam generators will be designed to generate a total of 278
tonnes per hour of reliable, high-pressure superheated steam which will be fed to the customers steam
header.

ASIA: The Global Engineering and Construction Group has signed a global Enterprise Framework
Agreement (EFA) with Shell Global Solutions International B.V. (Shell). Shell may request Foster
Wheeler to provide support in the preparation of basic engineering packages for the following Shell
Technologies: distillation, hydrocracking, hydrotreating, thermal conversion, ethylene oxide, pyrolysis
gas, fluid catalytic cracking and CANSOLV sulfur dioxide scrubbing.

Group has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) services contract by Kuwait
National Petroleum Company (KNPC) for its Clean Fuels Project. KNPCS Clean Fuels Project is a
major upgrade and expansion of the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah Refineries to increase the
combined throughput by 264,000 barrels per stream day to 800,000 barrels per stream day.

consulting services in the field of carbon capture and transportation in China. The World Bank has
launched an analytical and advisory assistance program in China in order to build the countrys

been awarded a contract by Abu Dhabi National Chemicals Company (ChemaWEyaat) for the
provision of a project management consultancy (PMC) services for an aromatics complex (Stage 1 of
the Tacaamol Project) and the supporting infrastructure. The aromatics complex is planned to convert
almost three million tons per year of heavy and medium naphtha, supplied via pipeline from the Takreer
Ruwais Refinery, into paraxylene, mixed xylenes and benzene. Foster Wheeler will, for the aromatics
complex and infrastructure, provide PMC service for the front-end design (FEED) phase. The contract
also includes an option for Foster Wheeler to provide PMC services for the engineering, procurement

been awarded an owners engineer contract for a new LNG liquefaction project by Cameron LNG LLC,
an affiliate of Sempra Energy, planned to export up to 12 million tons per annum of LNG. Foster
Wheelers scope of work includes technical assistance for project development, the execution of frontend engineering to support permit applications to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission,

ANTWERP, BELGIUM: A subsidiary of the Global Engineering and Construction Group has been
awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) services contract by
TOTAL Raffinage-Chimie for the revamp of a hydrodesulfurization unit at TOTALs refinery. The
revamp of the hydrodesulfurization unit should enable the refinery to produce jet fuel with sulfur
content below 30 parts per million (ppm), and diesel with a sulfur content below 10 ppm, in accordance
with European Union requirements.

Strategic Umbrella Agreement with the Dow Chemical Company. The agreement has an initial term of

SWEDEN: A subsidiary of the Global Power Group awarded a contract by Lunds Energi, a
municipality-owned energy supplier in the Southern region of Sweden, for the design, supply and
erection of a 35 MWe (gross megawatt electric) biomass-fired circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boiler
island. Foster Wheeler will design and supply the steam generator and auxiliary equipment, and will
carry out the erection and commissioning of the boiler island. The steam generator will be designed to
burn 100% bio fuel with up to 50% demolition wood. Lunds Energi is building the new combined heat
