No more than a public relations exercise

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon made a surprise visit to
Jerusalem on 20 October 2015, perhaps tried to persuade cruel lunatic Benjamin
Netanyahu to stop his attacks on Masjid Al Aqsa- Islams third holiest place.
However Ban Ki Moon knew very well that there was nothing he could do in the face
Israeli lawlessness and crime in view of the blanket support Israel enjoys from US, UK
Europe and Russia.
Thus, unfortunately it was nothing more than a public relations exercise to hoodwink
the world. The UN has not been in a position to exercise its authority on Israel which is
free from any sanction and war crimes trials despite its periodic barbarity and repeated
war crimes on Palestinians.
In fact it was the UN, manipulated by US led European colonial powers and Soviet
Union, that handed over Palestinian lands to migrant Zionist Jews to set up the racist
state of Israel which has virtually turned Middle East into a killing field.
The latest unrest as usual was caused by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu when he
dispatched troops and armed militants called Jewish settlers to violently enter Masjid
Al Aqsa and kick and beat Muslim worshippers.
Provoked Palestinians reacted precipitating the latest cycle of violence
Television footages of the barbarity unleashed by Zionist armed thugs with the
government backing on Palestinian men, women ,children and the aged speak volume
for the evil nature of Zionist Jews. However hearts of Israels supporters in the west
are unlikely to melt.
While in Jerusalem Ban Ki Moon also met Mahmud Abbas, Chairman of Palestine
Authority which for all practices is Israels Palestine Authority and not Palestinians PA
as it serves the Israelis.

Thus Mahmud Abbas is the wrong person for Ban Ki Moon to discuss Palestinian
issues as he was rejected by the Palestinians.
For example in a spotless democratic election held in January 2006 under the
supervision of former US President Jimmy Carter who described it as free and fair,
Hamas was elected with an overwhelming majority.
However Israel and its Western collaborators wanted Palestinian stooges who would
carry out their agenda as late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and his Palestine
Liberation Organization, PLO, did, after the suicidal Oslo Treaty, when Hamas freedom
fighters were arrested, tortured and killed.
Israel, US and Europe stopped all donations and cut off the flow of all money to
Hamas to starve Palestinian into submission. The Arab regimes especially Saudi
Arabia, Gulf States and Egypt too joined this blockade knowing very well the misery
they were causing to Palestinians. banki-bibi2
However, the Hamas controlled Palestinian Authority both in the West Bank and in
the Gaza Strip needed this money to keep body and soul together.

Israel and the Bush

Administration provided political, diplomatic, military and financial support to Abbas
and imposed a puppet Palestinian Authority to crush the Hamas administration
causing immense hardships to people in Gaza for supporting Hamas.
The task of overthrowing the Hamas government was entrusted to Mahmud Abbas
who was also given arms by Israel and US$42 million by war criminal President
George Bush to precipitate a civil war, shed more Palestinian blood and crush
Palestinian democracy.
The former Israeli premier Ehud Olmert said we gave arms because we need Abbas
help. To achieve this end the US began establishing a secret military camp in Jericho
at a cost of US$20 million part of the cost was met by some Arab regimes.

Abbas held secret talks with Israeli intelligence Chief Yuval Diskin in Jordan. The
meeting was attended by Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, demanding that Hamas
government be toppled at any cost to ensure democracy does not raise its head in
Gaza and West Bank as it would give food for thought to their own people and
threaten their oppressive regimes.
The tragedy of starving Palestinians worsened since June 2006 when Israel bombed
and destroyed roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, water and electricity plants, killing
275 Palestinians including 46 children in the process.
Unable to put up anymore with Mahmud Abbas collaboration with Israel and
compromising Palestinians rights he was overthrown by the Hamas.
Princeton academic Richard Falk described Israels siege as a prelude to genocide
while John Dugard, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Occupied
Palestinian Territories described it as serious violations of international law and in
complete violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention which governs Israel's occupation
of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Mahmud Abbas was given a specific task by his Israeli and American masters. That
was to crush any Palestinian resistance to Israel and, under the shameful security
cooperation pass information about Palestinian freedom fighters and activist to Israel.
Mahmoud Abbas and his Palestinian quislings arrested Palestinian activists, harassed,
imprisoned, tortured and even killed them.
In return American government paid $370 million from its tax payers money to
Mahmud Abbas.
Even at the early stage of the current crisis PA arrested and attacked Palestinians
youths who demonstrated against Israel for desecrating Al Aqsa.
However Mahmud Abbas and his team of quislings realized the dangerous mood
among the Palestinians and quickly changed their attitude for their own survival. They
now started supporting the Palestinians.
At the UN last month, Abbas accused Israel of sending extremists into the Al-Aqsa
Mosque and alleged Israel was executing Palestinians in cold blood. He cited as an
example a Palestinian teenager.
During a September speech in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Abbas hailed
Palestinian freedom fighters saying any blood spilled in defense of the holy site was
pure.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is ours. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is ours as well. They
have no right to desecrate the mosque with their dirty feet; we wont allow them to do
that, he added.
As a result US State Department announced cutting its economic aid to the
Palestinian Authority to $290 million annually.

Abbas who is accused of widespread corruption is a spent force today Indications are
that the Palestinian youths are taking the struggle against Israeli oppression and
brutality to their hands.Ends
