CORRIGENDUM
CHANGE IN SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND MODE OF SELECTION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF JUNIOR
ENGINEER (CIVIL) AND JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) IN ESIC
In partial modification to the advertisement dated: 24th September, 2015 for recruitment to the post of Junior
Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) in ESIC, the Scheme of Examination and Mode of Selection stands
modified as under :SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND MODE OF SELECTION
The Examination will be conducted as indicated below :Objective Type Multiple Choice (to assess professional knowledge) 200 Marks

ESIC reserve the right to conduct the examination in online mode.

ESIC reserve the right to change the Scheme of Examination.
The Qualifying Marks in Paper I and Paper II will be 40% (i.e. 80 Marks out of 200) for Unreserved (UR)
Category and 35% (i.e. 70 Marks out of 200) for Reserve Categories (SC/ST/OBC) and Sub Category (PWD).
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I and Paper II. Candidates are
therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Corporation will place the answer keys of Objective Type Multiple Choice on its website after the
examination. Objections and claims if any, received within the time limit specified while placing answer
keys will be examined by the Corporation with the help of experts, if necessary. Corporations decision in
this regard will be final.

MODE OF SELECTION:
The final selection for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) will be made on the basis of Written
Examination ONLY.
Other Terms & Conditions/Instructions of the advertisement shall remain unchanged.
The candidates willing to apply are advised to refer to the detailed advertisement dated: 24th September, 2015 for Recruitment
of Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) regarding eligibility criteria, age limit, educational qualification, experience, crucial date/
cut-off date for determining eligibility, application fee, how to apply and other terms & conditions/instructions etc., available
on the website of ESIC www.esic.nic.in
Candidates can generate challan/submit their online application (through website of ESIC at www.esic.nic.in ) up to 10th
November, 2015 (upto 5.00 PM). The link of making online application will not be available after 05.00 PM on 10 th November,
2015. Candidates are not required to submit to ESIC either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or
any other document.
