 The screen display is bright and low glare.
 The board surface is made of highly durable

metal.
 Having an intelligent tray with three different

colored pens and an eraser.


 Saves images in Vector image format. Vector

images take up less time.


 Data can be Stored and file transferring is

easier and faster.

 Installation of the software

Interactive White Boards
Basic needs to operate the Board

White Board software should be install in desktop


or laptop.
Board should be connected to CPU (Central Unit
Processer) or via USB cable (Universal Serial
Bus).
CPU (Central Unit Processer) should be connected
to projector via VGA cable (Visual Graphic
Array).
How to start work with
White Board
 Start the computer (Laptop or Desktop).

 Board should be connected to CPU (Central Unit


Processer) via USB cable (Universal Serial Bus).

 CPU (Central Unit Processer) should be


connected to projector via VGA cable (Visual
Graphic Array).

 Install the White Board software.


How to install Software

 Connect the whiteboard to


your computer or laptop using the provided
USB cable and insert the Interactive
whiteboard CD. Once the USB cable is
connected the computer will notify that it has
“found new hardware” and the following
window will appear:
 Pease click “Cancel” and use the following
method to install the application software.
Once the Interactive whiteboard CD is placed
in the computer’s CD-ROM, the auto run
install window will appear.
 Click Whiteboard Software to begin

 Follow the

 Double-click on

the Microsoft
DirectX9.0 to
install Direct
X9.0 Follow
 Follow the prompts to install
DirectX9.0. Once the installation of the DirectX
and whiteboard Setup is complete, click ‘Yes” to
restart your computer.
 Once the software is installed an icon will appear
in the computer’s windows system tray.
indicates a connection has been made to the
whiteboard, indicates no connection has
been made, please check
the hardware connection and USB driver.
 Note: Under Windows XP, the USB driver may need
to be reinstalled if the connection to another USB
port. Please press “Next” to search USB driver
automatically.
 Double-click on the icon to populate
the options menu.

 ‘About’ Option

 The dialog box displays application


software copyright date, edition and
hardware information.
Setup Option
 System setup is used to set the simulation of
mouse’s right-click and double-click based
on user’s preferences.
Calibrating
Calibrating
Users can calibrate image if the projected touch
point is offset from actual contact location.
To calibrate, click ‘Calibrate’ on the options menu
then click ‘Start’ Using the Interactive whiteboard
white dots will appear on the screen, to orient
the projected image on the board, follow the on
screen instructions by clicking on the white
dot each time it appears on the screen.
The orientation data saves in the Interactive
whiteboard software automatically and remains
unchanged until you the next time you calibrate.
Exit Driver Software
 When the Interactive whiteboard is no longer
needed, click”Exit” to exit the program. The
whiteboard software can be reopened from the
start menu.
 Note: There are three situations of whiteboard
connection errors
 shows the White Board is not connected
properly
 shows the White Board is in the process of
connecting
 shows the White Board is connected properly

 There are twelve hot keys on the right and


left hand sides of the board.

 Note: Only available on 78-inch and 105-inch


models, 56-inch and 88 inch model
whiteboard only has hot keys on the left hand
side. The functions are listed below:

Page Up is use to go to previous page.

Page is use to go to next page.


 This is used to go to blank work sheet of
board.

 This is used to go to blank black sheet of


board.
 This is used to adjust the pen point.
 To save for current/present worksheet.

Process :-
To select work sheet which do you
want to save.

Click save button.


 Cancel the last operations.

or

 To remove the last change of the work sheet.

 It work on only unsaved work sheet.


 You can remove pixel, words, remove all
contain of work sheet, and a part from work
sheet or selected area of work sheet.
.
This vice versa of Undo command.

Redo the operation just been canceled by


“undo”.

Use for return your previous work sheet.


Screen annotation:
 Click to change current interface into transparent, the
user can annotate on current page (such as desktop or
other applications), and at the same time, the toolbar is
changed into semitransparent.
 The system can switch between the mouse mode and the

writing mode freely.


 When the user single click the screen, it functions as

mouse single click; When the user double clicks the


screen, it functions as mouse double click; When the
writing pen touches the screen and stay for a while, it
functions as mouse right click; When the writing pen
touches the screen and move the pen, start to write or
annotate.
Screen annotation:
 One important function of is annotate on Office
document.
 Under “Screen annotation” mode, the main
toolbar will change to “Office mode main
toolbar” when you annotate on Word, PowerPoint
or Excel document, click icon to add annotation
into Office document.
 When playing PowerPoint slide under the “screen
annotation” mode , you can annotate on the PPT
slide. Click these icons to allow page up/down,
stop play PPT or insert annotation to slide.
Notes :

 When the user clicks “Page-up”, “Page-down” icon,


If the current display slide has a corresponding
annotated slide, then the system will go to
corresponding annotated slide, or it will create a
new screen annotation slide.
 When the user clicks “close” icon to stop play slide,
the system will prompt the user if add all the
annotation contents to the PPT slide, and at the
same time the corresponding annotated slide will
convert to a normal page with PPT slide content as
background, it can be saved or played.
Notes :
 The User can click “Embed” to add the current
annotation content on the current display
slide of PowerPoint file.
 While annotate on a currently display

PowerPoint file, any operation of writing pen


is “pen mode”. then writing pen changes
to “mouse mode”, click any pen icon can turn
back to writing mode from mouse mode.

There are some short-cut buttons, such as


cut, copy, delete, and etc. and there are
functions of customer management, set
up, pen width/ color, index, and etc
Start Tool Of White Board
 This is main tool of White Board as like as MS
office Word or Excel etc.
 It contains few commands such as :

New, Open, Save, Save as, Close, Print,


Print Preview, Export, Send Email, Tools,
Change background picture, Change
background color, Delete background
picture, About, System Setting, Exit etc.
How to Operate Start Tool

Click on Start tool.

A Title bar will open to proceed.

1 New

To open a blank work Sheet for


new work as MS Office Word.

Creating a new WBS format
document
Operate New command
 Click on Start tool.

 A list of commands will open as following.


 Click New command.

2 OPEN

 Open commands is used to open old


file(which are stored in PC) or document like
other software

 Opening an existing document.

3 SAVE
 Save command is used for save a new (which
is not saved on System) document or file.

want to save document and fill the file name
as you like and press SAVE.

 Document will be saved.


4 SAVE AS
 SAVE AS command is used for save that files
or documents which are already saved and
again save after editing.

 You can also change the place where file is


saved.

 Documents can be Saved in hht format also.


Operate SAVE AS command
Click on Start tool.
A list of commands will open
and click on SAVE AS
Command.
Remaining process is same as
save command.
A dialog box will open and
give the folder or path name
where you want to save
document and fill the file
name as you like and press
SAVE AS.
Document will be saved AS.
5 CLOSE

Closing the current editing file.


Operate CLOSE command
 Click on Start tool.

 A list of command will


open and click on CLOSE

6 PRINT

 Printing the current editing file.


 Click Print command to print the current

page:

8 Print part of Slide

 Print the rectangle region of the slide,


which can be selected /determined by users.

Operate to Print part of Slide :-


Select the part of slide which you want
to print.
Click on start and go to Print part of slide.
9 Export:-
 To change the current work sheet in the PPT /
PDF/ jpeg /HTML files format.

 Select the work sheet which do you want to


change in other formats.

 Remaining process is same as other Tools.


10 Send email:

 The user can set an account in Outlook


Express first and email current writing
contents as attachment (in WBS, PPT or
PDF format).
11 Tools:

 This is the eleventh sub tool of start tool


 The user can set functions of other software.

We provide some tools, such as “wrap


screen”, “screen keyboard”, “image capturer”,
“spotlight”, “screen recorder”, “Timer/Clock”,
“Protractor”, “Triangle Ruler”, “Compass”,
“Ruler” and etc

 Wrap screen:

Wrap screen: This tool allows the user to


cover some part of the screen, then the
audience can focus on the certain
content.

The user can adjust the wrapped area


through control menu.
How to work with wrap tool through
software

 Go to start Menu click that.


 Open a new list of menu and click tool.
 Click wrap option.
 Screen should wrap.
Spotlight
 This tool can highlight a certain area, so that
the audiences can focus on this area. The
user can move, rotate or resize the
highlighted area, and can adjust the shape,
transparence, etc by control menu.

For operate this tool follow


the same rule of Wrap tool.
Screen keyboard:

 Click to pop-up the screen keyboard.


 The user can type text.

 To operate this tool follow the same rule of


Wrap tool.
Image Capture

 Provide 3 modes (screen, rectangle, and


anomaly) to capturer current image.

 This is used to capture image.

 We can capture image in three shape.

Operate the Image capture
tool through software

 Click to Start.
 Click tool.
 A dialog box will open.
 Click image capture.
 A new window will appear on the screen.
 Set the path where your images are saved.
 Select the choosed image and click to OK.
Screen recorder:

The user can record the operation


process, and save it as an AVI file.
The sound can be recorded
together if you have microphone.
Timer/Clock :

 Provide clock and countdown (Period )


functions.
 The user can set time, clock transparence and

clock format as a digital clock or a analog


clock.
Protractor:

 Provide angle measuring function and arc


drawing function. The protractor can be
moved, rotated, zoomed out etc.
Triangle Ruler:

 A tool for measuring angle and drawing


straight line. The triangle ruler can be moved,
rotated, zoomed out etc.
Compass:

 A tool for drawing arc. The user can move,


rotate the compass and adjust its radius.
Ruler:

 A tool for measuring and drawing straight


line.

 The ruler can be moved, rotated and zoom


out.
Language select

 Switch the language of software.


Writing pens and eraser
 There are three colored writing pens and one
eraser, red, black, and blue. The writing pen
can write with the same color or users can
choose a different color from the color
palette in the software.
 Writing with single-finger, moving with

multi-finger.
Switch user:

 Switch among different users.


 The software provides three levels: Entry-

level, Medium-level and Advanced-level.


 User can set functions by different

requirements and levels.


Change background
picture
 The user can select image as the current
background.

Change background
colors

 Select a new color to instead of the current


background color.
Delete background
picture:

Delete the current background


picture.

About:

Provide software edition and other


information.
System Setting:
 Setting tool functions:

 a. Setting Pen Functions: Setting stroke width,


eraser size, width and transparence of
flouresent pen etc.

 b. Setting other functions: Setting software


interface, auto-save etc.
 Exit the application.

Show /hide the main window:

While the main window is


hidden, the main toolbar will switch to the “desk mode
toolbar”.
Delete Slide:
 Click this icon to delete current slide.

Previous Slide/ Next


Slide:

 Page up/ page down.


Zoom In:
 There are two zoom in modes:
 Click on the screen, the screen will be zoomed
in to 1.25 times with clicking dot as central.
 Select and drag the screen, the selected area
will be zoomed in to window size.

Zoom Out:
 Click this icon, then click on the screen, the
 screen will be zoomed out to 0.8 times with
clicking dot as central.
Rover or Move
n screen
 When one more finger touches the screen,
you can move the current screen.
Pen Tools:

 The software provides five different stroke


pens: Pencil, Brush, Laser Pen, Fluorescent
Pen, and Intelligent Pen.
Select one stroke, the “Handwriting”
toolbar will pop up, then you can
set the stroke color, width, fill
color, and etc.
Text Box
 The user can type any text on the writing
page by clicking the icon.
 Click the “Text Box” icon, then drag and move

the mouse pointer to locate the position of


the text and pop up the formatting toolbar.
Here you can setup the typeface, size, color,
background of the textbox, and etc.
Media

Media: Click this command to play media file


on the interface. Click “Media” icon, then
choose a media file to show.
 You can adjust window size or location by

dragging on the screen, the Toolbar will pop


up at the same time.
Select

 The user can select a object, then can edit it


in different ways according to its types.

Erase tools
Provide three kinds of erasers: part eraser,
clear all, pixel eraser.
Edit:
The user can cut, copy, or delete the selected
object, or change the layer of the object by
the edit tool bar.

Paste:
If the user wants to paste some objects, they
need click the paste icon, and click on the
screen, this clicking dot will be the upper left
corner of the object will be pasted. The user
also can clean up the content of the
clipboard.
Adjust Main Toolbar:
The user can move, turn, stretch and rotate the
tool bar.

Move the tool bar:


Click on any icon and drag to move the tool bar
