O resultado obtido numa unidade curricular expresso numericamente numa escala de 0 a 20 valores. A nota mnima de aprovao 10./ On a 0 to

20 grading scheme, a minimum grade of 10 in each course unit is necessary to pass.

Para fixao das classificaes das unidades curriculares abrangidas por cada uma das classes da escala ECTS, considerou-se a distribuio dos
estudantes aprovados nessa unidade curricular no conjunto dos cinco anos lectivos anteriores quele em que o(a) aluno(a) obteve aproveitamento,
e/ou num total de, pelo menos, 30 estudantes. Na impossibilidade de atingir a dimenso da amostra, a utilizao da escala ECTS substituda pela
aplicao de uma tabela institucional construda com base nos dados de todas as unidades curriculares, de todos os cursos da Universidade do
Minho, nos cinco anos lectivos anteriores. De notar que nem todas as classificaes da escala ECTS podero estar representadas./

In order to establish the course units grades for each group of the ECTS grading scale, the distribution of students with passes in the previous five
academic years and/or in a total of at least thirty students is taken into consideration. When a cohort of this scale is impossible, the ECTS grading
scale is replaced by the use of an institutional conversion table based on all course units grades of all Universidade do Minho's Degree Courses from
the previous five academic years. It is important to notice that not all groups of the ECTS grading scale might be represented.
