Australia
o Australian Defence Force - If you are a Permanent Resident of
Australia, the Australian Defence Force may consider a temporary
waiver of the citizenship requirements if the position for which you are
applying cannot be filled by an applicant who meets all the citizenship
requirements, and then only in exceptional circumstances. Also, noncitizen and non-permanent residents with prior military experience are
eligible to be sponsored by the ADF depending on the vacancies
available on the ADF recruitment centre website.

o French Foreign Legion

India
o Indian Army - recruits Nepalese and Bhutanese citizens, and the
refugees from Tibet who intend to permanently settle in India[clarification
needed]

Israel
o Israel Defense Forces - Israel has always recruited non-Israeli Jews,
including Israeli Jews who reside overseas through the Mahal program.

Luxembourg
o Luxembourg Army - Any citizen of a country of the European Union ,
who has resided in Luxembourg for at least thirty-six months and is at
least eighteen years old but not yet twenty-four, is eligible to join the
Luxembourg army.

Monaco
o Compagnie des Carabiniers du Prince - Recruits Frenchman, as well as
native Monegasques.[1]

Corps des Sapeurs-Pompiers - Recruits Frenchman, as well as native


Monegasques.[2]

New Zealand
o New Zealand Defence Force Citizenship not formally required for
enlistment, but full New Zealand citizenship and passport required for
deployment.
Norway
o Norwegian Armed Forces - By agreement between the two countries
Icelandic citizens are accepted.[3]

Pakistan
o Pakistan has special regiments for Palestinians and other Arab
nationals that undergo training within the country.

Russia
o As of 2010, the Russian Armed Forces are accepting CIS citizens
under certain circumstances.[4]

Spain
o Spanish Armed Forces - Spain recruits citizens of ex-Spanish colonies
(except Puerto Rico and the Philippines). Citizens of Argentina,
Bolivia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Dominican Republic,
Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras,
Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay or Venezuela
may enlist in the Spanish Armed Forces (except as submarine
personnel) with temporary/permanent residence or acquired Spanish
citizenship.
