PRCEEDINGS INITIATED ON THE BASIS OF FIR NO. 925/07 REGISTERED AT OKHLA POLICE STATION.
To the Honble Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi and his companion justices

MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:1.


The petitioners seek to invoke the inherent jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the
proceedings pending before MM Patiala House Courts, New Delhi initiated under F .I.R No. 925/07 registered at
Okhla Police Station against the petitioners under Section 406 and 498A I.P.C.

That the petitioner No.1 & 2 are brother and sister. The petitioners brother Guntur Pramod married the second
respondent on 28th March, 2006.

That soon after marriage the relationship between second respondent and her husband started deteriorating on
account of the second respondent's erratic and aloof behavior with him and his family members.
4.
That the second respondent had on vanous occasions falsely accused the petitioners and her husband. This resulted in
a lot of distress to the petitioners and brought a bad name to the family.
5.
That on 1 st March the second respondent again got into an argument with the her husband on the pretext of not going
for shopping with her.
6.
That after this argument the second respondent filed a complaint U/S 406 & 498A IPC, at the Police Station Okhla, in
respect of which FIR No. 925/07 was registered.
7.
That the petitioners have not filed any other petitioner before this Hon'ble Court seeking similar relief.
The petitioner invoke the jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C on the following among other:GROUNDS
A.

That it is respectfully submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioners in the complaint and
complaint made is baseless and vague.

B.
That it is submitted that there is no allegation of an overall by the petitioners in the complaint.
C.
That the complaint does not disclose any ingredients of offence under Section 406 and 498A IPC against the
petitioners.
D.
That the complaintf'an abuse of process of the court. The complaint is made only with an oblique motive to tarnish
the image of the petitioners before the public.
E.
That in the final report filed by the police after conducting a detailed investigation and there was no mention about
the involvement of the petitioners in the crime.
PRAYER
In view of the above it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass an Order :(a)
Quashing the proceedings pending before MM Patiala House Courts, New Delhi initiated under FIR No. 925/07
registered at Okhla Police Station under section 406 and 498 may be quashed against the petitioner.
(b)

Any other orders which this Court may deem fit and proper may be passed in favour of Petitioner.
