We are so glad you have joined us today! Our desire is that God
would bless and direct this time together. Worship is an
interactive, participatory experience and our prayer is that the

spiritual journey. Whether you are new to faith, just coming back
to church, or a long-time follower of Jesus, we hope you find your
time with us engaging and meaningful.

WHAT IS CARAVAN?
Caravan is a weekly scout-type ministry (similar to boy/girl scouts)
where the kids earn badges for completing activities in the program. A
Bible verse and Bible point are included as the basis for every badge.
Kids will also learn eight core values of the Church of the Nazarene.
All children ages 3 through Grade 6 are welcome to join. We will start
this program on Wednesday nights in January .

MICAH 6:8 MINISTRY from Sandy Schefcik

Did You Know... that a huge pro-life victory was had on October 23,

Before we begin, we need guides. The classes will be lead by a

team of guides, so we need several guides to volunteer. There will be
4 classes: Preschool, K thru 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th graders, and 5th &
6th graders. Our goal is a minimum of 4 guides per class.
For the badges, we are seeking individuals to help teach/lead in areas
of cooking, sewing, woodworking, fishing, hiking, etc.
We also need a director to oversee the ministry with Pastor Linda.
If you would be willing to minister in the caravan ministry as a director,
guide or badge volunteer, please contact Pastor Linda. You will be
given all the materials needed and appropriate training. This is a
wonderful, fun program for everyone involved.

2015? Pro-Life members of the U.S. House voted 240-189

to defund most of Planned Parenthoods federal money next year ( this
bill would cost Planned Parenthood $400 million in just one
year) and to roll back some of the most life-threatening aspects
of Obamacare. The vote was on H.R. 3762, the Restoring
Americans Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act. Because this was
a rare budget reconciliation bill, it cannot be filibustered when it goes
to the U.S. Senate. That means it would require the support of only 51
senators to pass, instead of the 60 votes required for most bills. In the
end, Planned Parenthood could only get no votes from 182
Democrats and seven Republicans, while 239 Republicans and one
Democrat voted for the pro-life bill. But even with a 51-vote threshold in
the Senate, passage of the bill is far from guaranteed. Of the 54
Republicans in the Senate, several consider themselves pro-choice
and have voted against defunding Planned Parenthood in the past.
