Be Ye Transformed.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be ye

transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is]
that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
CHANGE; is the order of the day, the word in everyone's mouth is change, we all
want change, change in our situations and circumstances, change in our finances,
change in our career, change in our families etc.
But the change we are looking for will not come until there is a change in our minds.
True, lasting and enduring change comes by the renewing of the mind. Romans
12:2 says; "...but be transformed(changed)by the renewing of your mind".
Transformation means change, the Greek word translated transformed in Romans
12 is "metamorfoo" and it means to change into another form, the same way a
caterpillar which is earthbound transforms into a beautiful butterfly that is no longer
earthbound but flies around in the air. What a change? That's what renewing your
mind will do to you.
May be you are earthbound now and crawling on the floor, overwhelmed by your
situations and circumstances, but by the renewing of your mind you can be
changed(transformed) into another form and soar over all your problems and
circumstances. Glory Hallelujah!
Today, we are busy looking for miracles and breakthroughs which are all changes in
our situations and circumstances and not paying much attention to the state of our
minds, not making any effort to renew our minds. If we seek change in our
situations and circumstances without a change in our minds, without renewing our
minds, in no time we will find ourselves back in the same situations and
circumstances.
The Scripture says as a man thinks, so is he. The situations and circumstances we
find ourselves are the fruits or the results of our thinking or thoughts, so to change
the situation without changing the mind or renewing the mind is like just cutting
branches of a tree, in no time they will grow back.
The situations and circumstances should not be your focus, but the state of your
mind. Remember the Israelites, they had a change in their situations and
circumstances. God through great miracles, signs and wonders delivered them from
Egypt. That was a change in their situations and circumstances. But that did not
bring about a change in their minds, they had a mind that complains and grumbles.
Each time they were faced with problems, they complained and grumbled.
In fact one day they woke up and decided to return to Egypt, where they were
delivered from. They are a proof that change in our situations does not bring about
true or a lasting change.

What kept the children of Israel out of the promised land(their inheritance) was not
the problem or the challenge, but the state of their minds. It was what they thought
about themselves. They thought they were grasshoppers, they thought they were
no match for the giants, they thought it was impossible to take the land. They
thought lack, they thought sickness, they thought poverty, they thought
impossibility, they thought problem rather than solution.
Joshua and Caleb on the other hand thought differently, they thought they were
more than able, they thought victory, they thought possibility. They were all faced
with the same problem, faced with the same situation but everyone had it the way
they thought. Joshua and Caleb made it to the promised land, but others did not.
To renew the mind is to think in line with God's word, to align your thought with
God's word, to see yourself as He sees you. He sees you as victorious, He sees you
as blessed.
Child of God make the renewal of your mind your top most priority, when there is a
change in the mind, your circumstances will reflect it, as you think in your heart so
are you.
At Transformation Chapel our emphasis is on the renewal of the mind by the word of
God, worship with us and have your mind renewed to experience true and lasting
change and live the life that God designed for you.

DO YOU KNOW?
Friends, hear is a good news for you. Do you know that all your sins have been
forgiven, do you know that God is no longer angry with you, do you know that God
loves and will accept you just as you are? 2 Corinthians 5:19 . It was God
[personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor
with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses
[but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation
(of the restoration to favor). Receive God's love and forgiveness today by
praying this Prayer with me; Thank you Lord for Jesus, I believe he died for my sins
and was raised for my justification, with my mouth I confess Jesus is Lord.
