Sussidi Patristici.
The series Sussidi Patristici, begun in 1981 collects brief and
precise monographs which serve as valuable didactical
resources intended especially for those who pursue studies in
ancient Christianity.
Augustinianum.
Augustinianum is the peer-reviewed journal of the Patristic
Institute Augustinianum in Rome. Since 1961 it has
published original research and reviews related to the study of
ancient Christian literature, and particularly, the thought of
the Fathers of the Church. In its first ten years, the journal
published a number of Targumim. Also, along with volumes 13
(1973) to 28 (1988) the journal published, in special issues,
many of the papers presented at the annual Meetings of
Scholars of Christian Antiquity, which is held early in the
month of May at the Patristic Institute in Rome. All articles
and reviews from our Journal, from 1961 to the present, are
available on-line at the web-site of the Philosophy
Documentation Center (www.agstm.org).

2) otherwise : ed./edd. space, initial of the name, period,
last name of the editor with a capitalized first initial,
comma, space, complete title of the series and number,
comma, space, place and year of the edition separated by
a space, comma, space, number of the page(s),

separate paragraph.
Citations in modern languages which are not admitted for
the publication of articles (Italian, English, French, German,
Spanish, and Latin) must normally be accompanied by a
translation, in quotes or in footnotes.
8. Non-Latin alphabets.
Alphabets which are written from right to left (semitic
languages in general): except previous agreement with the
redaction, these are transliterated / transcribed.
Cyrillic: in citations and in modern bibliographic titles one
may use the Cyrillic alphabet (or Old Slavonic) as an
alternative to transliteration (though not Glagolithic). In any
40
case, an accompanying translation in the language of the
article must always be joined [in square brackets, in Roman
script, for the titles of articles and of books].
Greek: always use Greek font (avoid unjustified Latin
transcriptions). Translate if the context does not
presuppose a knowledge of Patristic or Modern Greek.
Coptic: in accord with the redaction (it is better to use a
Coptic font).
First and last names of authors: must always be written in
the Latin alphabet, accompanied by a transcription /
transliteration of the original, if the case calls for such.
Examples:
P.G. Nicolopoulos [Nikolovpoulo].
G. Krstev, Mjastoto na Detstvo Isusovo v rannohristijanskata
tradicija i apokrifnata kninina na srednovekovna Blgarija

version of Phsysiologus in the medieval literature of

16 (1992), 68-76.
