CandlepowerCandlepower,measuredincandelas,isaunitofmeasurementthatstandsfortheluminous
intensitygoinginaspecificdirectionfromalightsource.Thelatter,usuallyseenonreflectortypebulbs,ismost
importantwhentheactualpunchoftheconcentratedbeamoflightismoreimportantthanhowmuchofanareait

illuminates.
CandlepowerDistributionAcurvethatrepresentsthevariationinluminousintensity(expressedincandelas)in
aplanethroughthelightcenterofalamporluminaireeachlamporlamp/luminairecombinationhasauniqueset
ofcandlepowerdistributionsthatindicatehowlightwillbespread.
