COSTUMES:

Female protagonist character (Amelia- played by Katya Parrish):

This character is a prim and proper teenage girl from a well to
do background. Stereotypically the good girl or daddys
girl. This will be shown through smartness of clothing and not
much skin on show. A light colour of clothing will be work to
highlight her innocence. A pair of plain jeans will be worn, to
show her as being a normal teenage girl.

In another clip- the clip where she is kidnapped, she is to be in a

bright pink hoodie highlighting the importance of the scene. Not
only does this match with her girly fashion but it implies the
importance how this clip is to frame the films plot.

In another scene whilst Amelia is getting chased, she is

dressed in jeans- implying the fact that she was hoping for a
casual day with no anomalies, however they light grey long
sleeve top implies not only her innocence but the idea that
behind her purity and innocence there is an underlying
darkness- the fact she is being stalked.

Female character (Isabella/Bella- played by Esther Roberts):

Looking a Levi Strauss binary opposites, Bella and Amelia apply to the theory.
Amelia is the stereotypical good girl, and Bella is the stereotypical bad girl. This
will be pursued throughout Bellas ripped jeans in numerous scenes, matched
with her leather jackets/denim jackets, and checked shirts. These are all
stereotypical costumes worn by the rebels in the films- giving us the decision
for Bella to be dressed in these outfits.

This character is barely shown in the trailer of our film, only subtly to show that
there is someone stalking the female character. We thought for this the best
clothing would be a hooded jacket so that this can cover up his face. For his face
to be concealed adds enigma for the audience as they are unaware who the
stalker is. This enables the audience to relate with the characters in the film as
they are also unable to identify the stalker. Looking at colours, our stalker is to be
dressed in a black hoodie seeing as black is the colour that symbolises danger,
darkness and negativity.

News Reader (name unknown- played by Tamjidul Abedin)

This character is only briefly showed to present the news report notifying the
audience that there has been a rise in missing teenagers and suspicious
behaviour. This is important information so it is essential that he is to be dressed
in appropriate clothing. Our idea was for him to be dressed in a dark suit with a
shirt and tie. This professional look notifies the audience that the information he
is telling the characters, but also the audience that it is legitimate information
that they should be concerned about. This also sets up and builds on the rest of
our whole film plot. To add to the professional and intellectual look, our news
reader will wear glasses, as they are a stereotypical thing to be worn by
someone of a high knowledge.
