Analyzing How Authors Craft Creates

Mood
Unit goal:
Standards: W 2, R 5

The purpose of this unit is to teach students how to analyze how authors structural
choices (sequence of events, details. word choice or time ) creates mood or builds
mystery, tension or surprise. I will know students understand when they can analyze
mood through writing, drawing, and speaking.
