Witness to Blasting & Painting inspection for each coat of structural steel, field joints
for oil & gas field and concrete / mechanical painting vessels, structural for Oil and
gas, Thermal power plants, waste water treatment and sea water intake and out fall
and its pipeline.
Vendor Inspection carried out for various coating, painting, Thermal & Acoustic
Insulation & Fire proofing activities.
Internal coating of application of Belzona for local damage area of the valves, lining
for vessels, sea water piping.
Extensively involved in internal and on-stream inspection of static equipments,
Pressure vessels, Heaters, piping, Storage Tanks, Columns, Heat Exchangers, major
utility piping, Retail outlet piping, Retail outlet canopy and Communication towers etc
using various Non Destructive techniques and preventive maintenance of Rotating
equipments.
Well Versed with all kind of welding inspection methods for various applicable
standards, welders performance in production welding, PQR, WPS and Welding
supervision. Co-ordinate with contractors, Familiar with various welding processes like
SMAW, SAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW etc...
Preparation, Qualification and approval of WPS, PQR & WPQR as per ASME sec
IX, AWS D1.1 and API 1104. Review and monitor Quality Assurance programs (QAP) for
the project work activities.
Material inspection as per supplier/manufacture document/mill certificate with
respect to type, size, qty identification, witness of mechanical test and visual inspection.
Excellent exposure in codes of ASME SEC-II, V, VIII Div-I, IX, B 31.3, B 16.5,
B16.47 and AWS D1.1, D1.3 and D1.6 , ANSI, API, NACE and BS Codes.
Well Conversant with API-510, API-570, API-577, API-571, API-598, API-653, API580, API-610, API-650, API-660..
Well versed with PID, ISO drawing to find the correct process line for Corrosion
monitoring check.
Corrosion monitoring of high Pressure and temperature pipe lines and pressure
vessels.
Monitoring/witness of UT, PT, MT, RFET, Replica, Eddy Current Testing and MFL
Monitoring/ Witnessing of Vacuum Box testing on bottom plate welding and Bottom
plate to Ist course welding of Storage tanks.
Hammer Testing on Tanks, Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Pipes wherever required.
