Success Type: Two teachers participated for the Intel Teach program from our school.

After the Intel teach program we trained 40 teachers successfully with in

our school. We divided 40 teachers in to four groups and then gave time
frame for them. According to that time frame after the school we got four
hours from the teachers and gave our support for them.

That was an important training program in the teaching learning

process. Where it was first introduced how to find correct
information to the teaching learning process and then how it
present to the students creatively and attractively. Students very
much interested in computer. So this program introduces a new
way to apply teachers computer skill in teaching process.
At the end of this Intel teach program teachers discuss new ideas
for future plans (how to plan a lesion creatively and attractively)
and the possibility of starting a lesson effectively.
Individuals may download materials from the internet for their own
use. As a teacher, they freely distribute it with their colleagues.

With in the Intel teach program they offer :-

The Teacher's Guide software is developed to provide teachers with everything they need to assign,
manage, and evaluate software in the classroom, including lots of tips to make creative lesions a fun
educational experience. It also offers a variety of tools and tips that seasoned teachers will find
useful. Some of the key elements included in the guide:

Benefits of creative software: An explanation of the benefits of doing creative

software and how they map to the education standards.
Teacher Timeline: Steps to help teachers guide students and plan additional
activities.

A timeline for students to follow with reading and homework assignments.

Challenge(s) / Goal(s):
We faced a lot of challenges, when we were conducting the Intel Teach program,
There ware recourses problems. The main problem was, we have very old computers.
Our computer lab had been built 2003. There were not any UPS for any machines. So
when power failure happened we have to wait and some times some machines were
not worked properly. Our internet connection also very slow. In our area the main
problem was power failure in many times at one day. So we have to face for these
problems.

Description of Activities:
Please describe how the challenges described above were overcome / how
the goals were achieved.
Our past principal Mr. S. P. Gunawardhane gave his full cooperation for this program. He
asked all the teachers to get this training and give its benefits and opportunities for the
students. According to his advice we started this Intel teach program and we were able
to train 40 teachers effectively. All the teachers participated for this program actively,
they didnt consider about any disturbances. They helped us to over come those
problems and conduct this program effectively. With the principal and all the teachers
contributions we conducted the program successfully.
We trained 40 teachers. They created lot of teaching aids for their teaching process and
they use these teaching aids to solve problems, which they were faced in the class
room. At the end of this program they appreciate this program always.

Please describe the inventions, successes, performance improvement that
may have been achieved in by implementing Intel Teach.
Intel Teach program introduce to lessons plan effectively and more organized
approach. Teachers developed software and teaching tools to help them put on a
successful lesson, from start to finish.
