1-In GodChrist:: Like the branch & vines! The Thessalonians are one branch,
redeemed from every tongue tribe etc
Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 In that
day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps
them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest
myself to him. Jn 14:19-21

3 Work Labor Steadfastness/Faith Love Hope
WORK of Faith: like Heb 11, a supernatural conviction of Truth (Noah & the boat, Rahab)
LABOR of Love: A disposition & motive power
God&Neighbor: Great Commandment (Matt 22: 36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in
the Law? 37 And he said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.)
Brothers: (John 13:34-35A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I
have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you
have love for one another.)
Enemies: (Matt 5:43-48 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your
enemy. But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of
your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and
on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the
same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers,[a] what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do
the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.)

STEADFASTNESS of Hope: A desire & expectation

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk
in darkness, but will have the light of life.-Jn 8:12
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? Jn 11:25-26

Titus 2:13
waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider
how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but
encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.-Heb 10:23-25

Gospel not in word only, but power, Spirit, full conviction! Have I not chosen you, the twelve? (John 6)
