What are the strategies to be adopted by Shri Adinath Tourist Agency for better business growth and
operational efficiency? Does not flow from the above. These aspects have not been examined.

2. Approach and Methodology

i.

Description of the proposed project

Shri Adinath Tourism Agency is preferred by middle class tourists as a reasonably priced tourism
agency with special tour packages offered for family and couples trips.
The team hadrequested and conducted a preliminary interaction session with the owner ofto the
company and gathered some information pivotal to the project. The team inferred that it is a profit
makingthe company within general has a simple operating process with few resources and an average
customer reach. which makes it a profitable one. However, the company does not have the ammunition
to meet the rising demand for hotel and transport during holiday season due to low sub-par operational
efficiency. There are also prospective market segments that have not been tapped into as yet as the
agency has mainly focused on catering to the middle class. Very scanty data. Does not give a clear idea
of the organization.

The team needs to delve into how the company functions as of now. The team further plans to visit
company for further information to fill any loopholes in understanding of operating procedures
adopted.
The team plans to gain insights on the marketing practices in the company. They also would conduct
further interviews with the owner and company personnel to understand how they view the company

5. From your work plan it seems you are going to base your entire study on interviews
conducted with the owner. This will not yield a comprehensive perspective. You need to
interview other stakeholders as well, e.g. employees, customers, etc. Also no time has been
allocated to writing of various drafts of the final report. Do not copy paste things from the
sample proposal. Remember the proposal shown is without Instructors comments and is not
the final version.Calendar Schedule (Gantt Chart)

7. Company Information You need to give industrial classification number

Owner(s): Virendra Jain
Office Address: 2, 1st Floor, Nr. Apsara Hotel, City Station Road, Udaipur 313001, Rajasthan
Phone: +91-294 2414149
Mobile: +91 9414168359
The team came to know of this tourism agency through an online search portal Justdial.
Main reasons for selecting the organization:
-

The company deals in a flourishing sector and has great scope of expanding its service

line and improving the present strategies for acquiring a greater customer base.
The company has highest customer inflow during holiday seasons when tourists come in
large numbers to visit Rajasthan. October and December are the best months to analyse
business and contribute towards the growth of the organization.

The proposal needs to have a sharper focus. What exactly are you going to examine? Do you feel the
company faces problems in managing demand during peak season and this is due to its operational
inefficiency? Or do you think it has potential to expand its business by tapping untapped segments?
Company data is inadequate. At one place it states it has both international and domestic tour services
but there is no information on its international operations. Approach and methodology needs looking
into.
The sample proposal was for reference and not for for copy pasting.
You have to rewrite the proposal.
