VOLUME 39 N UMBER 35 | NOV E MBER 8, 2015

Dear Eastminster Family,

I encourage you to stretch yourself, to grow spiritually by
increasing your giving financially. Increasing our participation in Christs work is the fruit of growth. Increased
giving is a tangible sign of gratitude to God, and represents
joy in bearing witness to Jesus Christ.
Growing generosity for Gods work is a visible sign of a
person living, not for himself or herself, but living to love
God and neighbor.
As a church family, we have some members who have been
hard hit recently. We also have many members who are in
a position to step up and be a blessing. If you are in the
latter group, I encourage you to seize this opportunity to
experience personal growth while also strengthening Eastminster to be the church
our Lord desires for us to be.
Jesus, in Matthew 6, articulates the strong correlation between our finances and our
priorities when He says, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Pledge Dedication Sunday is November 22. May generosity and joy abound.
