Intercede for the Muslim World!

For my Fathers will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them
up at the last day (John 6:40, NIV).

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC: A student from CAR, living in Togo with his wife as he attends WAAST, asks
us to intercede for his country and his children, who are staying with an uncle. Sporadic violence continues between
Muslim rebels and anti-Balaka forces (non-Muslim militia) in their city. He writes, Pray that God would bring peace
to the country, for our children, and that I and my wife might have peace in our hearts concerning our children. At
times the uncle and children need to leave the city for security reasons and cannot be contacted. Please pray for divine
protection and God's peace in this difficult situation.
MADAGASCAR: A pastor from this nation points out a disturbing trend: that building a mosque seems to be an easy
process, but building a church is becoming more difficult. Please pray for favor and for resources for congregations
who need to build a place of worship.
WAAST: Graduation Day is upon us (Nov. 7), then the new alumni head home to continue their ministries or to take
on new ones. Pray for them as they return, some to Muslim-dominated areas, others to places where Islam is no doubt
creeping in. Pray that the knowledge they have gained in courses, through Jumaa Prayer meetings, and through
contacts and discussions at WAAST, would ignite a growing love in their hearts for these people, and that the Holy
Spirit would help them to lead others to intercede for and reach out to them.

In the News
Continue to intercede for Nigeria, particularly for those living in the northeast, where Boko Haram is based and
continues to be active. The Nigerian Army has retaken many villages and towns that were strongholds. On October 28,
another 338 captives, mostly women and children, were rescued from camps, and the Sambisa Forest has been
cordoned off. But despite heightened security, people live in constant fear of suicide attacksand justifiably so. This
week Boko Haram published photos of a rocket-making plant in a northeastern town. Pray for God's people here, for
His peace and His boldness to live their faith before others. Pray for the salvation of those involved in Boko Haram.

From Global Initiative*

Pray for the unreached Tukulor people. The majority live in rural Senegal, the rest in surrounding countries. They
follow a mix of Islam and traditional religion. Pray that the gospel message presented in various languages by radio
would touch their hearts. Pray that the Lord would raise up workers, particularly from the national churches in these
countries, and open doors for them to live and work among them. For more information, see http://bit.ly/1Rohuiy.

For Muslim Women**

Please pray concerning the overwhelming needs of refugees from the Middle East entering Macedonia at the rate of
thousands per day. Pray especially for the women; an Assemblies of God worker at the border notes, It is so hard for
the women traveling with small children. Among the many needs: Winter clothes. Food for children. Peace and
safety. Strength. Wisdom for the familieswhere to go and how to connect with more Christians along the way. The
body of Christ is rising to the challenge and they are meeting these people all along the way!
