Why Liberals Identify with Criminals

Liberalshatecops,honestcitizenswithguns,andhardsentencinglawsbecauseliberalsidentifywithcriminals.
WhenvisitingaFederalprisonObamasummarizedtheviewofliberalswhenhesaid:
TheseareyoungpeoplewhomademistakesthatarentthatdifferentthanthemistakesImadeandthemistakesthat
alotofyouguysmade."
Whilethepeopleintheprisonhewastalkingaboutwerereallydrugdealersandviolentfelons,Obama,wasrepeatingtheliberallie
thattheprisonsarefulloffolkswhojustsmokedajointandgotcaught.
Liberalsarefivetimesmorelikelytousemarijuanaandcocainethanconservatives.Anaturalconsequenceofdruguseisfearof
thepolice.WhiletheU.S.hasanoverlysoftpolicytowardsdrugusers,usersarenonethelessafraidoftheconsequenceofgetting
caughtbreakingthelaw.Thisfostersinliberalsananticopmentality,sincethepolicearetheagentsofsocietythatenforce
societyslawsagainstdruguse.
Ifaliberaldislikesthepolicebecausehethinkstheyareunfairlytargetinghisharmlessdruguseitsnotabigstepforhimto
assumethatcopsareracistandviolenttowardsotherinnocentpeople.Afterallifaliberalbelievesthatcopsareracistpigsthen
itbecomesclearthatarrestinginnocentdrugusersisanactoffascistrepressionandthatdrugusersareactuallyvictimsofthe
policestatenotcriminals.
Thisantipathytowardsthelawbecauseofdrugsisnotnew.DuringProhibitionAmericanswholikedtodrinklostrespectforthe
police.Anyonewholikestodothingsthatareillegalisgoingtodevelopadistasteforthemenandwomeninbluewhoenforcethe
law.Itsanaturalconsequenceofthefactthathumannatureissuchthatweusuallytryandrationalizeourbehaviorby
scapegoatingsomeoneelse.
Theproblemisexacerbatedbecauseformanyliberals,suchasObama,drugusebeganwhentheywerehighlyimpressionable
teensbiasesdevelopedatayoungageareoftenmuchhardertoescapethanthosedevelopedlaterinlife.
Furtherbecauseillegaldrugusersarecriminals,thatistheyareintentionallybreakingthelaw,theytendtoidentifywithother
criminalsratherthanwiththecriminaljusticesystemorvictims.
Drugusersrationalizestheircriminalactsbysayingitsthelawthatsbad,thatthesystemisunjust,thattheyrebeingunfairly
persecutedexactlythesamesortofrationalizationsthateverycriminaluses.Itsnotsurprisingthenthatliberalswillidentifywith
thecriminalratherthanthevictimorthepolice.
Likeothercriminals,liberallawbreakersoftenbelievethatwhattheydodoesnthurtothers.Robberswillrationalizethattheyre
stealingfrompeoplewhoarerichonlybecausethesystemiscorruptandthatthey,therobbers,arejustgettingwhatshouldbe
theirs,andanywaytherichtheyrestealingfromwontmisswhatwasstolen.Rapistswillclaimthatthewomanaskedforit
andthatnomeansyes.Similarlyliberalsarguethattheirdrugusedoesnthurtanyone.Apparentlyliberalseitherdontcareorare
unawareofthevictimsoftheirdruguse.
Drugusehoweverdoeshavemanyvictimsthegangwarsinourcities,themassivedeathsofblacksinourcities,thechaosand
deathinMexicoareallfueledbythedollarsofAmericandrugusers.Mexicoisturningintoacesspoolofviolenceandcorruption
becauseAmericanswanttheirdrugsandtheydontcarewhosuffers.
Theriverofdrugmoneyalsoleadstothecorruptionofthepolicethatinturncausestheverysortofpolicemisconductthatliberals
excoriate.
However,liberalstendtobepeoplewhoeschewpersonalresponsibilitysotheyfailtoseetheconnectionbetweentheirgiving
moneytocriminalorganizationsandtheviolentactsofthosecartels.
Ifliberalsweretoadmittothemselvesthattheaveragecopisadecentpersonwhotriestotreatpeoplefairly,theydhaveto
confrontthefactthatitsaliberalschoicetobreakthelawthatmakesliberalsfearthepolice.Sadly,liberalDNAjustdoesnt
includeacceptingresponsibilityforonesactionssotheycontinuetoblameothersfortheconsequencesoftheirdruguse,including
theirfearofpolice.

Ofcourse,notallliberalsaredrugusers.Someliberalsprobablyviewthepoliceastheenemybecausetheyvecommittedother
crimes.Forexample,HillaryClintonsfeelingthatshesbeenpersecutedinencounterswiththelawoverWhitewaterandvarious
otherscandalsmayhaveputheronthesideofcriminals.AndofcourseallthecorruptliberalpoliticiansinChicagoandDetroit
haveamplereasontosidewiththebadguys.
Oncewerealizethatliberalsidentifywithcriminals,theiractionsmakesense.Apersonwhothinksthejusticesystemisanything
butjustwillworkhardtomakecopsjobharderwhilegivingcriminalsasmanyloopholesashecan.
SimilarlyifapersonthinksofcriminalsasoppressedvictimsthentheywillhavenoproblemwithSupremeCourtrulingsthatput
impossibleburdensonthepolicewhohavetomakesplitseconddecisionsincomplexsituations.
Butworstofall,apersonwhoviewsthepoliceasthebadguyswillbuyintothelieoftheBlackLivesMattermovementthatcops
arekillingpeoplefornogoodreason.Thatinturnleadstolackofinterestontheirpartconcerningthesafetyofpolice.
Intheend,liberalidentificationwithcriminalsleadstothepoliceknowingthatthepoliticiansdonthavetheirbacksandtoa
reductionineffectivecrimecontrol.ItsnotanaccidentthatliberalsdisagreewithGiulianisBrokenWindowpolicing
philosophy,sinceliberalsdontseemtocareaboutthevictimsofpettycrimes.
WeneedtotelltheAmericanpeople,ourfriendsandneighbors,thetruththatliberalsarentlikehonestfolkinsteadliberals
identifywithcriminalsandthereforesupportlawsthatfavorcriminalsovervictimsandsociety.
Itstimetorealizethatliberalsarerootingforthewrongsideinthewaroncrime.
