Managing Change: How to cope with the challenges of the new world of work
The 2-day program is aimed at developing and enhancing the skills and competencies of executive- to
middle managers in any business field. The contents and methodology will help managers to better
understand the fast-changing changes of the business environment of the 21st century, and how to
develop personal managerial and leadership strengths and skills, to help cope with the challenges of the
new world of work. The program will be facilitated interactively.

Day 1 Managing External Change and understanding the new world of work: Exploring the
External Environment
During day 1 we will explore the new world of work and the international business environment. We
will cover megatrends in business, explore the interesting new technological and other innovations that
are impacting on our daily work-life and discuss how these might impact on business and work in
Georgia.

Day 2 Managing Internal Change and how to cope with the new world of work: Personal
Development
During day 2 the focus will be on personal development that would enable managers and leaders to
understand themselves better, and to generally improve the way in which they manage relationships.
Participants will be exposed to interactive exercises and gain fresh new insights into themselves. The
contents will include scientific and accredited personality assessments, such as the MBTI and EQ.
Participants will receive practical tools and tips on how to enhance their own capacity and skills, in order
to effectively cope with the challenges of the new world of work.

Retha Alberts, MPhil in Decision-making, Knowledge Dynamics and
Values, the founder and director of Retha Alberts and Associates.
Having an extensive experience in the areas of facilitation,
consultation, coaching and change management, Retha is a
Leading Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, in Muscat, Oman.
She is internationally accredited to assess and coach people in The
Leadership Circle, Barretts Values on Cultural Change, Emotional
Intelligence and Myers Briggs (MBTI). Her core focus is capacity
building via the professional facilitation of strategic business
processes, leadership/management development and corporate
governance/business ethics.

Participants will better understand the changes and challenges of the external (business)

environment and how these might impact on their respective world of work;

Insights will be gained on what is innovation, and how innovation is impacting the business world in

transpersonal relationships.

After completing the training program, the participants will be awarded with certificates for completing
a program in Change Management for Managers.
