1.Firstmakesurethattheunitsoftheautocaddrawingaresameasetabsmodelunits.
2.drawapointbythecommand"Point"inautocadandatorigin,sotype0,0,0inautocad.
3.Movetheentiredrawingtotheorigin.How?Well,usecommand"move"andmovetheentire
drawingtothepoint(0,0,0)madeinstep2above.Thiswillmaketheoriginofautocaddrawindand
etabsmodelmatch.
4.breakallxrefsandblocksintoindividualelementsbyselectingtheentiredrawingandwritethe
commandxandpressenter.

gridsinanewlayerandsaveasdxf.
6.Thengotoetabs,Fileimportimportdxfandshwooosh....uhavethegridsimported.Similarlyu
cansavedifferentelementsindifferentlayersandrepeattheaboveprocedureONEBYONEINTHE
SAMEDRAWINGANDIMPORTAGAININTHESAMEOPENEDUPETABSFILE.
