GUEST SPEAKER Sunday, November 8, we will welcome missionary to the Middle East, Ariel Royer as our guest
speaker.
CCF RETREAT will be November 21-22 at First Christian Church in Scottsdale. This retreat is open to children in
grades 1-5! Registration forms are now available and will need to be returned to the office by November 12.
THE BRADY CHURCH LIFE COMMITTEE is soliciting requests for 2016 first quarter funding. Areas to be considered are includingbut not limited to evangelism, education, long-range planning, leadership development, special events, ministerial contingency, new programs plus other ideas consistent with church life that may involve
the larger outside environment. Anyone may apply. Please submit proposals by 4:00 PM on Friday, January 8 th,
2016 for consideration to Church Office. Please use the form: Brady Church Life Funding Form for Requesting
Funds, also available at the Church Office. Robert & Shirley Callahan, Chairs Brady Church Life
PILL BOTTLES FOR MALAWI People in Malawi walk miles to go to a clinic. They receive meds and have no container in which to carry them back home, other than wrapping them in old newspaper! They need pill containers
to use for this purpose. Id like to ask the congregation to bring your old prescription bottles to the church where
I will collect them and send them on. PLEASE REMOVE ALL LABELS especially personal information. OTC medicine bottles are fine, too, but the large vitamin bottles are unusable. Seems like a win-win solution! They wont
go into our landfills, and people who really need them will have them. Gwen Elbert
BRADY OUTREACH APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED Applications are now being solicited for the 4th quarter Brady Outreach grants. These grants are awarded quarterly to areas including neighborhood, community,
world/global, Basic Mission Finance, new church development and ideas which are beyond the scope of our own
church development. Requests should be able to show a measurable impact. Preference will be given to start-up/
seed projects as opposed to sustaining ongoing projects. Requests must be submitted on official application
forms which are available in the church office and returned by November 15, 2015. Questions may be directed to
Sharon Jensen at: ss.jensen57@gmail.com
PEOPLE TO PEOPLE INDIA TRIP Dates are Feb 1-15. Participation is limited to 14. One half of the group will have
the opportunity to visit Sarah Williams and the areas of her work with Global Ministries. We need to have names
of interested participants by Nov. 1 before the opportunity to participate is opened up throughout the U.S. And
Canada. Phyllis Hallman will be the contact person for Az. People who are interested. Drafts are available in the
