Nov. 17, Tues.- Conrad L. Kanagy, professor of sociology at Elizabethtown

College, presents Anabaptists Around the World at 7 p.m., at Elizabethtown
Colleges Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies. Kanagy will report on

the preliminary findings from the Global Anabaptist Profile, a study of twenty-two
Mennonite groups from eighteen countries. For more info, call 717-361-1470 or

Nov. 18, Wed.-Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Nov. 18, Wed.- Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the
Bowmansville Mennonite Church in the morning and afternoon. Everyone is
welcome. The project for this month is Hygiene Kits. Hygiene Kits are often
presented to children in refugee camps whose families cannot afford or do not have
access to hygiene supplies. Along with the supplies, they delight in owning the
double drawstring bag that they come in! A Hygiene Kit includes the following
new items: 1 toothbrush (adult size, in wrapper), 1 bar soap (4-5 oz, in wrapper), 1
fingernail clipper, 1 bright or dark colored hand towel, Kit items can be brought to
the church, and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to MCC for distribution.

Dec. 6, Sun.-David Musser of Executive Director for River of Hope, (Christian
Counseling) will be sharing as a part of the worship service. He will share on the
theme of "Bound By An Invisible Thread" Believing that history repeats itself,
this takes a look at our family of origin and the relational patterns that flow down
through the generations.
Dec. 14-18, Mon.-Fri.-MDS work week at the rental property. A sign-up sheet is
in the Narthex. Plan to help as you can, every day all day, or partial days or week.
-The Pastoral Care Committee is looking for people interested in participating in
