MISET Software / Features

Description
Digital technology, on which measuring transducers
are built, enables them, with corresponding software,
to adapt to different input and output quantities. Input
quantities, for energy measuring transducers, of phase
voltage can be set within the range from 50 to 500 V
and currents from 0.2 to 5 A. Values of analogue out puts can also be set within the range from 1 to 20 mA
for current and from 1 to 10 V for voltage. Input-output
characteristics can be created with five breaking
spots for unipolar and bipolar output signals. The accu racy class of measuring transducers is 0.5, except for
frequency, where accuracy class is 0.2.

- Configuring and setting software

- Full instrument setup capability
- Displays data in real time
- Windows compatible
- User friendly

The above stated versions of measuring transducers

can be provided with the RS232 or RS485 communica tion for connection to the network. The MODBUS com munication protocol is used with bit rate from 1,200 to
115,200 bit/s. A measuring transducer with three elec trically isolated bipolar analogue outputs (MI400) is
the most capable version. Outputs can be software
adapted to any measured quantity (voltage, current,
power, power factor, frequency) for a phase or for a
complete system value. The transducer is supplied
with a universal supply module within the range from
24 to 300 V DC or 40 to 276 V AC voltage.
Beside AC measuring transducers we produce also
DC programmable measuring transducers for conver sion of DC current and voltage, resistance and tem perature into appropirate DC current or voltage sig nals. Their analogue output signal is proportional to
the measured value and it is appropriate for regulation
of analogue and digital devices. Input quantities for
DC measuring transducers can vary from 50 mV to 300
V for voltage and from 1 mA to 1 A (up to 7.5 A as special version) for current. Output values are similar to
output values of AC measuring transducers. Accuracy
class for both (current and voltage) DC measuring
transducer is 0.5.

MISET Software / System requirements

MISET Software / Application
MISET software is created for configuring and setting
of all the instruments with serial communication port
(RS232 or RS485) connected in your power network.
Devices must be connected to the computer via
RS232 communication port (one device, or up to 32
devices connected in network via RS485/RS232 com munication converter).
With MISET software you can set any parameter of
your device, such as input values and transformer
ratios, type and value of output and its characteristic,
address, communication speed. It also displays measured values in numerical format and in table form.
PC software MISET is user friendly and involves help
function to simplify the work.

- Windows 95, 98, Millennium, 2000, XP, NT4.0

- 50 MB available disk space

Differences between measuring transducers

Our measuring transducers can be divided into two groups: MI400 multifunctional measuring transducer and all
the others.
MI400 is the most powerful multifunctional measuring transducer. It supervises simultaneously any 3 values of an
electrical system. It has the capability of measuring more than 50 different electrical quantities such as: TRMS
values of voltage, current, kW, kvar, kVA, PF, Hz, MD, THD etc in one instrument. All values are available via
communication port for monitoring on the PC. It can have up to three configurable analogue outputs, which are
programmable. Programmable are also CT and VT ratios.
All the other measuring transducers compose group MI4xx (4xx greater than 400). Each measuring transducer in
this group is tailored for measuring one electrical quantity. In the table below you can see which functionality is
covered by which instrument and instrument's input and output values.
