Procedure
Step 1 Remove the bolts from the handle. Ensure that the module handle is open.
Step 2 Pull handle out.
Step 3 Gently push the PSU into the related slot along the guide rail.
Step 4 Push the handle upwards, lock the handle.
Step 5 Tighten the bolts in the handle and secure the handle.

ESMU to the top ESMU by referring to the following table.

Connect an electronic label communications cable between the ESS-A and the ESMU.

Then tighten the ESU bolt to a torque of 3.5 N.m to 5.0 N.m after connecting the cable.

Remove the protective cover from the ESMU and install the negative ESS-A cable. Then
reinstall the protective lid and protective cover.

The cable between the water sensor and the ECC500 is already connected before delivering,
please check cable connections.

Before connecting AC input power cables, switch all circuit breakers to OFF.
When connecting cables, wear insulation gloves and use insulated tools.
Connect DC power cables to the circuit breakers for controlling primary or secondary loads based on
site requirements.

Procedure
Step 1 Switch the AC circuit breaker on the upper-level device for the ACDU to ON. Check that the
AC input phase voltage is 85 V AC to 290 V AC and the line voltage is 147 V AC to 502 V
AC by using a clamp meter.
Before reinstalling the fuse, switch the AC input circuit breaker on the ACDU to OFF.
Otherwise, the fuse will produce sparks during operation.

Step 5 Check that the AC input voltage is between 80 V AC to 220 V AC, and the system voltage is
between 44.5 V DC and 57.6 V DC by using a clamp meter.

Step 2 If the ESS-A are powered on for the first time, initialization starts automatically to balance the
voltage differences between ESU strings
Step 3 Wait 15 minutes until the initialization is complete and check that:
If the voltage difference between ESU strings is great, the initialization may take 3.5 hours

to Boost Charge, Discharge or Float Charge.

Step 3 Verify that the values on the ECC500 LCD screen are the same as the actual configurations
and no alarm indicator on any component is on. If an alarm is generated or an Alarm indicator
is on, please contact the professional engineers of HUAWEI.
Step 4 If no exception occurs after the PowerCube 1000 runs for about 1 hour, the commissioning is
complete.
Step 5 Reinstall all panels and check that the cabinet paint is intact and repaint the areas devoid of
paint.
Step 6 Seal cable holes by using fireproof mud and clean up unnecessary things.
Step 7 Close and lock the cabinet door, and hand the keys over to the person in charge.

Prerequisites

When installing floating nuts, wear protective gloves and do not exert excessive force.
Otherwise, the flat-head screwdriver may hurt your hand or damage the device.
