I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: BUILD AN RPG GAME FOR ED-ROBITEL


ENTERTAINMENT, INC.
ED-ROBITEL Entertainment, Inc. is an entertainment company that publishes
games across different devices. Legend of TristRAN is a Role-Playing Game (RPG)
intended to send teenage gamers into a virtual world with a school-based theme
having numerous monsters lurking at the vicinity of the campus wherein gamers
can have fun as they slay monsters, join events, and take on quests to gain
experience points for a stronger character. Legend of TristRAN will be added to the
whole gaming catalog of ED-ROBITEL Entertainment, Inc. thereby increasing
business revenue as more users would tend to try out new games and explore a
new world full of possibilities.

II. SCOPE
Legend of TristRAN is to be developed and released as a desktop application
only which shall run on computers with the following minimum system hardware
specifications:

CPU: 1.0GHz Pentium 4 processor or equivalent


Operating System: Windows 7 or later
Memory: At least 512Mb of RAM
Hard Drive: At least 1Gb of drive space
Video Card: DirectX-compatible 3D graphics card: Nvidia GPU
GeForce GTX 660 or later/ AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870 or later

The gameplay experience shall be available offline or LAN/Internet for party


gamning and shall be distributed worldwide.

III. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS


1. The game shall consist of four (4) character types.
2. The game shall have Single Player mode, LAN mode, and Internet
mode.
3. The game shall have a map to guide the character throughout the
game world.
4. The user shall use a cursor to move the character and interact with
objects within the game.
5. The skillset shall be divided into three categories according to stat:
Intelligence, Dex, and Str.
6. The character shall have four upgradable stats: Strength, Intelligence,
Dexterity, and Vitality.
7. The character shall be able to take on quests and complete them.
8. The character shall be rewarded money, experience, and items upon
completion.
9. The character shall have five (5) armor slots.

10.The character shall have two (2) weapon slots, one for ammunition and
one for the weapon.
11.The character shall have 9 slots for the skills.
12.The user shall utilize a keyboard to activate the different skills of the
character.
13.The character details shall be saved for later gameplay.
14.The user shall be able to create a maximum of 10 characters in his
account.

IV. ASSIGNED PROJECT MANAGER


The Project Manager has the authority to spend the company's money and
resources in order to accomplish the goal of the company. He has the right to
choose his team members as well as impose rules for them to follow. He is not
allowed to change his chosen members after the project has started. He can
interview stakeholders in order to collect information that will be beneficial for the
accomplishment of the project.

VI. Business case


Legend of TristRAN is an action role-playing game which you have to select
your own character. The fantasy-themed game is set in a mob-infested University
where students explore to collect valuable loot and battle hordes of monsters. This
project will be a sound investment for ED-ROBITEL Entertainment, Inc. Provided
it is planned and executed properly, the developers should receive around $2,000
per person in profit.
