We are asking your permission to conduct our project in your barangay. Students from Rizal
Technological University is planning to include your barangay in our project, KABATAAN
IWAS MALNUTRISYON that will starts from August 1- November 1. This project is consists
of three activities: teaching, feeding and cleaning. The purpose of this project is to improve the
nutritional health of the children.

Project Title
KABATAAN IWAS MALNUTRISYON
This is the title of the project because the focus of this is the malnourish children
who needs help to provide proper nutrition they needed.

To inform parents on providing proper nutrition for their children
To teach children proper hygiene
To teach the children about the nutritional value of vegetables and fruits
To promote healthy environment

Overview
This project proposes to enhance the nutritional health of the children and also to
promote healthy environment. The focus of this project are the malnourish children ages
5-10. It will be very helpful for our fellow citizen who needs help in the society.
There are three parts of the outreach program
1. Teaching
Every meeting the assigned volunteers will teach about the food they eat.
They will teach about go, grow and glow foods and other lessons about nutritional
value of the food they eat. And most importantly the significance of eating fruits
and vegetables. Volunteers will provide games and activities so that the children
will gain their interest in what the volunteers are teaching.
2. Feeding
Volunteers can include the parents in planning the menu, budgeting,
cooking and monitoring their children in order for them to be inform on how to
provide proper nutrition in inexpensive ways.
3. Cleaning
Volunteers can let the children help them cleaning for them to learn on
how to take care of their environment.

This project will last for 4 months, 1 month for preparing and 3 months for
execution of the project. It will starts from August 1- November 1, 2015 that will be
conducted in Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City. It will be attended with 40
volunteers coming from Rizal Technological University and 20 children together with
their parents in the said barangay.

IV.

Project plan
1. Find volunteers.
Look for the volunteers who are willing to give their time and effort in
supporting the project. Make sure that their schedule do not conflict with the
project.
2. Do fundraising and sponsorship.
To make the project possible, we should do fundraising and sponsorship, we
can sell products are made of recycled materials like bags and wallet and we can
also advertise our project in the investors for the sponsorship.
3. Identify the children who need help.
You can ask barangay workers to help you in determining the malnourish
children in the barangay.
4. Conduct an interview.
Make a set of question that determine the status of the children. You can go
house to house and ask their parents the sets of question.
5. Involve the parents.
After you interview the parents to can ask them to participate in the activities
in the project like in conducting the feeding program, they can join in planning
the menu, budgeting, cooking and monitoring their children.
6. Buying the needed materials.
Choose to buy in the market that sell cheaper and affordable materials, you
can include some volunteers to help you.
7. Do the documentation.

Dont forget to document while doing the activities in the project, it will
contains the information about the progress of the heath of the children. The
documentation will serve as the proof if the project succeed.
