AHADITH 11-15

Hadith # 11

a)

b)

Checklist:
Belief Strengthened:
It explains the virtues of bringing up the orphans.
Islam puts so much emphasis on the rights of orphans & treatment with them.
Muslims are asked to treat them kindly
The best Muslim house is that in which an orphan is well treated and the worst Muslim house is that in
which an orphan is ill treated. (Ibne Majah)
he is the person (denier) who repulses orphans [107:2]
Muslims believe that treating orphans kindly & bringing them up fairly would benefit them with the
nearness of Holy Prophet (PBUH) in paradise.
Those nearest to Holy Prophet (PBUH) would be rewarded with same inconceivable bounties which the Prophet (PBUH)
would have.

Importance of the Practice:

Muslims should help the orphans as much as they can.
Muslims should be generous towards them by being fair & kind.
Muslims should also highly support & love those who lack supervision and care.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) took care of Hazrat Zaid bin Harith in a way when Hazrat Zaids father
came to take him he refused to go back and decided to stay with Holy Prophet (PBUH).
If orphans have property Muslims should take care of it honestly until their youth.

Hadith # 12

Checklist:
a) Belief Strengthened:
It suggests the most important principle of preaching Islam through good governance.
Mans heart tends with ease & kind heartedness so Muslims are taught to be kind to others rather than
being harsh.
Muslims believe to produce ease for people and being gentle to them.
Make things easy and do not make them hard & cheer up people and do not repel them. (Agreed)

b)

Muslims kind treatment makes others to listen and follow them where as repelling cause ill in others heart about
Islam.

Importance of the Practice:

Muslims should be kind & gentle when they preach

Example: Hazrat Nuh (A.S) responded to the obstinate disbelievers arguments gently & politely call them to
worship one Allah.

Only kindness touches the heart & makes one to accept the suggestion.

This is why Allah asked Hazrat Mussa & Haroon (A.S) to be kind with Pharaoh in speech.
should also be tolerant

When a Bedouin urinated in the mosque & companions rushed to beat him Allahs Apostle ordered
them to leave him & pour bucket of water over the place where hes passed urine.
Muslims shouldnt introduce Islam as a sophisticated & complex religion to follow.
Muslims should never try to thrust their opinion on others.

AHADITH 11-15

Continuous virtues of learning Quran by heart are mentioned in Ahadith.

Al-Quran 15:9+7:200-204; & The noblest of my community are those who carry the Quran (in their
memories).
(Dalail -un- Nubuwwah 3 Volumes By Shaykh Imam Abi Bakr Ahmad al- Bayhaqi)

Muslims believe as its virtuous to learn it, remembering it is also absolutely necessary.
It gradually slips out of mind if it isnt revised as same as the animals runs away if it isnt kept.
b) Importance of the Practice :

Muslims should make the habit of regular recitation of Quran.

Huffaz should also listen it during Ramadan in Tarawih & also recite it out.

If Ashaab e Quran dont revise it, it slips out of their mind

I saw my Hafiz friend remorsefully crying twice with holding Quran on his chest because he had
forgotten Quran. After six months, with a cheer on his face, he told me that he regained entire Quran into
his memory which he had lost thru regular revision.

The more you revise, the stronger it is kept into memory so Muslims should never stop revising
whatever part they have learnt of Quran.

Hadith # 14

a)

Checklist:
Belief Strengthened:
It teaches the ethics of business transactions.
Islam teacher to conduct business not only with honesty & justice but also with kindness.
Muslims belief is to kindly do the business dealings in order to receive Allahs mercy.

Kindness in selling means not to store commodities for earning higher prices, not to hide defects of their
commodities.

Al-Quran 5:1 says about keeping promises and its impact.

Whoever sells anything with defect in it which he doesnt make known, will remain hated of God. (Ibne
Majah)

Kindness in buying means not to buy items until they reach to the market, to avoid bargaining against his brother
bargain.

Kindness in demanding the money back is to be considerate & forgiven when the debtor is in straitened
circumstances.

b)

Importance of the Practice :

Muslims are required to be kind in business connections.
Businesses shouldnt be run on monopoly basis.
Muslim seller should take back their sold items if buyer isnt satisfied or want to return it in any
case.
A companion of Holy Prophet (PBUH) opened the shop just to take back the sold items when he
hear the Prophets saying of being rewarded with paradise on this act.
Muslims buyers should wait for their turn and shouldnt irritate the sales man.
Muslims should never give & take loans on interest.

Hadith # 15

a)

Checklist:
Belief Strengthened:
This deals with the Attribute of Allah, Mercy, to be adopted by believers.
We believe that being forgiven & merciful to others rewards them with Mercy of Allah.
Merciful means to love His creatures, affectionate to younger ones & honor the elder ones.
Mingling in people and being compassionate to them is better than being reserved & impatient.
Al-Quran 7: 156 says; But My Mercy extends to all things.
The Muslim who mixes with the people & hears them patiently is better than he who doesnt mix with
them not bears with them patiently. (Ibne Majah)

AHADITH 11-15

Compassionate is one who do good to the people even if he doesnt treated well still maintains the ties of
relationship..
b) Importance of the Practice:

Muslims should be compassionate & merciful to the creatures of Allah.

Muslims should be forgiven towards men.

Muslims should also be kind towards other creatures than human. It also causes Gods Wrath or
Mercy.

Two women who are rewarded with Heaven & Hell due to their attitude towards Gods creatures.
The one who gave water to the thirsty dog goes to Heaven & the other who was harsh to the cat goes to
Hell Fire.

Muslims shouldnt expect any re-compensation from men in turn of their favors to them.

************************************************************

What does agreed upon mean

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slaveservant and the seal of His Messengers.
When the term Muttafik-un-alayhe (or Agreed Upon) is used as a reference to the Hadith, it merely
means that the exact same Hadith is related in both Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
The collections of Imam Bukhari (Sahih Bukhari) and Imam Muslim (Sahih Muslim) are considered by the
scholars and the jurists to be amongst the most authentic works regarding the collection of the Sunnah of
the Messenger of Allah (saws).
If a particular Hadith finds mention in both the books, (ie. it is agreed Upon by both Imam Bukhari and
Imam Muslim), then it is considered stronger and more authentic than the other Hadiths.
