AT&T Donation to Support its Diplomas to Degree Program
Program Helps Prepare Underserved Middle School and High School
Students for College and Career Success
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Friday, November 20, 2015 The Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area
received a $5,000 AT&T donation today to support its Diplomas to Degrees program and help underserved
teens prepare for college and career success.
Diplomas to Degrees (d2D) is a college readiness, access and success program that provides a range of
services to help guide Club members through high school and plan for post-secondary education and career
success. The goal is to create a college-bound culture at the Club that will prepare youth to graduate high
school and complete college.
We all know that education is crucial to future success in life, said Kent Anderson, the Clubs Executive
Director. Through our Diplomas to Degrees program, we are working hard to help our youth graduate high
school and go on to successfully enroll in and graduate college. We are grateful for AT&Ts support.

The Boys & Girls Club is doing wonderful work to help our students not only graduate high school, but also
begin to prepare for success in college and a career, said State Rep. Scott Krug (R-Nekoosa). The
Diplomas to Degrees program will help more teens from the Rapids area graduate ready for whats next in
post-secondary education or the working world.
