Boost your Internet defense system
The Internet is a great medium for both informationgathering and entertainment because of the sheer
volume of resources that is available at the tip of your
fingers. You can almost say that anything you could
possibly want to read, watch, and listen to is available
online. However, as with any other activity that gives
people access to vast amounts of information, there are
some risks involved in Internet usage. These risks can
range from slight annoyances to serious threats to your
personal information and security. Some of the dangers
you may encounter while online are the following:
Phishing
A common trick used on websites that have
been hacked or are pretending to be legitimate
in order to obtain usernames and passwords.

BILL PAYDAYS
Dedicate at least two days each
month to pay your bills. Try to
make this a habit. Anticipating a
bill payday every month will help
you manage your finances more
efficiently.
PRIORITY PAPERWORK
Reduce the number of bills
you receive by cancelling the
subscriptions that you no longer
use. Inactive subscriptions are
just a waste of time and add to
paper clutter.
