Visit to Planetario.
1.What are the most relevant aspects of this visit for me?
For me one of the important aspects of my visit was to go to the space
museum, because I knew a lot about astronomy, as well as the international
year of light, they dictated a conference on what happens to light when it is
interacting with our atmosphere. The way of putting it was by experiments with
a laser and various items such as mirrors, lenses, and containers with water.
The importance of this conference was to determine the refraction, a
phenomenon attributed to the effect of conditioning the beam of light in
different ways. I found it curious that had to goodwill messages from around
the world brought to the moon by the astronauts of Apollo 11, and a scale
model of the Saturn V rocket which spacecraft launched the Apollo mission to
the moon.
Another important aspect in the museum was made to recognize the land as
the only world known so far to harbor life. Where I found interesting as humans
invented instruments to look beyond the earth, which can show the human
being as a living being with character, not matter how insignificant we are in
the universe.
Another important aspect is gravitational fluorine, if we were to stars. When we
jump. We feel as if something use back to earth. Gravity governs the whole
universe. It can modify other paths buddies, make planets orbit around the sun,
stars spin around a common point, and collide galaxies.
Finally, I liked the guide's explanation about black holes, which creates a
fascination with astronomy, which I found very good visit.
2. How can I make a contribution to the betterment of the Colombian society?.
a. As an individual.
As an individual can contribute to society, first in the way of thinking, being a
fair and honest person, I say this because Colombian society is accustomed to
thinking of getting things regardless override other as we see in the political
leaders who represent us. Another contribution as an individual, is doing the
right thing no matter how difficult it is, as not littering the streets, pay taxes or
not skip the Transmilenio, waiting for the traffic light to change or even help
low-income people at a time of economic abundance.
b. As an Professional.
As a professional I can help Colombian society, exploiting the potential of
geothermal energy in the Nevado del Ruiz, or solar energy in certain areas of
the country, and that renewables are a way of generating energy without using
fossil fuels like coal or if you have to build a giant dam to generate

hydroelectric power, this care towards the environment, to stop exploiting the
country's resources and whether delivering sustainable technologies which
help preserve not only our country but the planet we live. Since the incentives
and try to develop these technologies can meet the energy demand while the
environment is cared for, and controlled for example greenhouse gas produced
by burning coal and wood in thermal generation, in addition to the
development of geothermal energy in the Nevado del Ruiz, would have great
job for many people in the area and for engineers interested in these
technologies of power generation.
