SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE

Is the summer heat warming up your creativity? Perhaps you’re looking for some summer activities for your children? Or, are you looking
for an entertaining yet educational way to enjoy your Museum? Well, the School of Art and Design is very happy to be continuing over a
hundred years of tradition this summer with the offering of numerous art classes for all ages and skill levels!
What better way to visit and learn more about the works of art in your Museum than while learning the creative process inside its doors
yourself? Our classes regularly use the Museum’s collection as a wonderful reference source, encouraging your own artistic growth and
understanding.
A look through this summer’s offerings will show that we are indeed still growing to meet our community’s needs. We are offering numer-
ous adult classes as well as many classes for our younger patrons. Most of our youth and young artist classes meet for one week, Monday
through Friday, with both morning and afternoon sessions, making scheduling other summer activities very easy.
The School is here to serve you, our community, and we work hard to foster an environment that can serve a broad base of skill levels and
media in a supportive atmosphere. One of our primary goals is to ensure that everybody that comes in for a class finds an encouraging,
entertaining, and educationally sound environment that is supportive of each individual’s explorations within the creative process. So,
take a break from the sun and come join the artistic community for some summer fun inside the School of Art and Design!
