Total Care Agreement (TCA)


The purposed of TCA engine maintenance agreements are designed was to provide the operator
with a determinable fixed cost per flight hour over a time period or quantity of shop visits.
OVERHAUL
Rate per Flight Hour (RPFH) programs are offered by a CFM to provide a long-term support
with cost per shop visit and time on-wing risk transfer. Already a popular product on CFM56
engines, in 2016 this overhaul solution has been choosing by many airlines for the LEAP engine
family. Under the terms of these exclusive, comprehensive multi-year services and support
agreements, CFM guarantees engine maintenance costs with dollar per engine flight hour pricing
along with flexible term, coverage, and payment options. Customers can choose event-based
pricing for engine overhaul and repair for the exclusive RPFH program and these structure can
be price in many ways such as standard time and material with a Fixed Price Labor Schedule
(FPLS) or with cost per shop visit risk transfer contained in Not To Exceed (NTE) or Firm Fixed
Pricing (FFP) pricing structures.
Compared to other manufactures, the CFM event based products were more competitive because
of it broad OEM material options and repair capability. These structure can apply to a smaller
shop visit quantity commitment or to entire fleets entire fleets either exclusively or nonexclusively. Regardless of your overhaul needs, CFM has the product choice, fulfillment
resources, maintenance expertise, and service program management experience to deliver the

PORTABLE MAINTENANCE FOR LEASING (PML)


PML is a unique maintenance program through leasing companies that brings benefits to both
lessees and lessors that includes:
All shop maintenance, including performance and non-performance shop visits, is
covered
Lessors can offer customers predictable, competitive maintenance costs fully covered
within maintenance reserve rates
OEM configuration assurance is in place to enable optimum product support and higher
asset residual value
CFM56 engine operators, particularly small and medium sized operators, have access to a
time-on-wing and dollar-per-shop-visit risk transfer engine overhaul program
Inefficient lease return condition shop visits may be minimized

ON-SITE SUPPORT
The flexibility of value-added engine repairs when and where you need them were provided by
CFM and its parent companies. That will give the customer the power to lower their operational
costs and help maximize time on wing. The CFM were the full-services provider with the
regulatory certification and OEM engineering support needed to complete complex engine
repairs. Providing 24/7 aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, they dispatch CFM56-trained
technicians with tooling and parts to the flight line to provide repair solutions that help avoid an
unscheduled engine removal.

Extensive capabilities
CMF teams perform approved repairs at the flight line for all CFM56 engine models, including
borescope inspection or blending, line replaceable unit (LRU), fan module and gearbox work
scopes. On-wing top case compressor repairs and module changes are also available on certain
engine models.

The CMF can exchange engines with a full quick engine change (QEC) swap. Their teams will
then service your engine at one of their quick-turn "hospital" shops that perform top and bottom
case compressor repairs as well as blade, seal and module replacements. CMF were an
authorized provider for most Service Bulletin and warranty programs for CFM engines.

Regulatory certifications
CMF service stations carry FAA, EASA and local regulatory certifications with authorizations to
perform services outside of their fixed bases. CMF service also comes with full component,
tooling, logistics, engineering and project management support to provide an integrated solution
that meets customer quick-turn maintenance needs.
