1) Research the Analyzer upgrade for your Int-Scope.

It will allow you to scan s

oldiers and figure out what kind of stats they have. This is really important be
cause you need to upgrade your base to have good gear.
2) Make sure that you shower off when you get too bloody or hurt. When
r, your Reflex Mode duration is increased among other things. You also
hower to wash off scents, which can make it harder to infiltrate areas
nemies will smell you. Also, when you're very bloody, your Reflex mode
is shorter.

wise for you to take a few videos to do the Side Ops. The Side Op
of features in the game, most notably the weapon customization (w
would LOVE to see you mess around with). The Side Ops actually un
things, like Quiet for a buddy as well as D Walker.

4) Make sure to keep your base doing things at all times. From what I understand
, all of the projects require in game time so since you do long recording sessio
ns, you can even do things like show us how your missions go. A little later on,
you're gonna unlock the Combat Unit which allows you to send your staff out on
dispatch missions to bring back resources and cash. Make sure you do these cause
weapon upgrades are very expensive and there are some cases where you literally
cannot progress without better gear (unless you're very skilled).
5) Fulton EVERYTHING. Take EVERYTHING you can because nothing goes to waste. Upg
rading your Fulton to allow it to take Mortars, Gun Emplacements and Vehicles is
very important so you can start getting more options for your missions. In some
missions, it's better to take a vehicle instead of D Horse (other buddies get m
ore useful than D Horse before long). You should also take some off screen time
(if you don't want to show us) to find D Dog. D Dog is INCREDIBLY useful, especi
ally for your playstyle since you like to be stealthy.
6) Non lethally take down wildlife and fulton them as well, it gives you heroism
(which causes more volunteers to come to your base as staff) and it gives you m
ore GMP than the fulton costs so it's a really quick way to make some cash. This
is especially true for when you get to Africa because one of the animals gives
you 50,000 GMP per fulton. Also, if you get a lot of animals, you can go visit a
zoo at your base (I know how much you love animals Brad so this is ESPECIALLY a
tip I want you to see).
7) Make sure you prioritize your weapons properly. From all the gameplay I've se
en you do so far Brad, you're pretty big on the non lethal approach so go throug
h your Developments and look for guns that has the ZZZ in its name. The Riot SMG
is an amazing weapon and it will quickly phase out the pistol until later in th
e game. I also highly recommend getting a rocket launcher upgraded so you can ta
ke on tanks (they're incredibly difficult to deal with early on until you get yo
ur fulton upgraded to jack them.
8) Interrogate everyone you can. Make sure you do the missions to get interprete
rs and interrogate everyone you possibly can; it marks things on the map, rangin
g from enemies to containers and even gun emplacements. Most importantly, they s
ometimes reveal blueprints, which are VERY important.
9) When you get to a base, look for the power generator and shut it down. It mak
es the base a lot easier to infiltrate and if a guy comes to investigate it, kno
ck him out and they won't send anyone else to come check it. Also Brad, destroy
Anti Air Radars; it allows you to open up more spots for your helicopters to pic
k you up from which can make things easier in the long run. You can also destroy
the radio equipment. Look for a set of radios with a blue light on them. If you
find it, blow it up and then the enemies can't call for reinforcements so even
if you do get spotted, you don't have to worry about backup coming for them.

10) Fire all staff that have negative skills. It will save you loads of infighti
ng and lots of staff leaving. Also, for staff that have very high stats (or if y
ou like the particular character model), you can lock them so if you ever send t
hem out on a dispatch mission, they will not die. If you happen across a soldier
with like A++ or above stats, it's normally worth to lock them in so they can't
die.
11) Visit your base often to increase morale. Walk up to your soldiers and it wi
ll help a lot.
12) Develop equipment for your buddies. Your buddies are very important in makin
g missions easier. D Dog is especially useful because he has gear that makes him
very useful in all playstyles. He can get an armor upgrade that allows him to t
ackle and knock out people. Quiet also gets a tranquilizer sniper rifle (but it'
s expensive to get it). D Horse can knock out people if you're careful but he ca
n kill people very easily. D Walker in my opinion isn't all that great but you c
an mess with him.
13) Check your chance to get a successful Fulton. You don't want to waste GMP in
this game. Especially if you try to extract a container which costs 10,000 GMP.
If that balloon gets popped, you lose 10,000 GMP instantly. Make sure your enem
ies are knocked out or unaware before you fulton.
14) You need to go back and find D Dog. You missed him in the last video. D Dog
is useful because he marks enemies, animals, weapons and vehicles from a long di
stance which makes it much much easier to plan your attacks. If you want to find
D Dog, a place people have been finding him a lot is just north of the Keep you
start the game at when you first get to Afghanistan. You'll know you found him
when Ocelot radios you and starts talking about the puppy. If you still don't se
e him and the radio conversation is happening, stand still and the puppy will co
me to you. I can tell you right now that you'll LOVE D Dog cause you love the sl
ow and calculated approach. D Dog is also definitely the buddy for you because y
ou can have him attack someone while you deal with someone else and while they'r
e under attack, they can't see or hear you.
15) Make sure you do the Side Ops that get you Huey (the guy who develops the D
Walker), Quiet (she's INCREDIBLY useful and makes a lot of missions far easier),
the Legendary Gunsmith (which allows you to get the ability to customize weapon
s) and the Side Ops in general help you out a lot because it often adds really g
ood staff to your lineup. Some of the Side Ops contain very important story bits
(indicated by Yellow Text when you look at the side ops list).
16) Expand your base platforms. It's the ONLY way you can level up your base pla
tforms more which in turn unlocks more things for you to do. Base expansions can
take a while, so set them to go while you record if you can Brad. Same goes for
Combat Deployment missions. Some of them give blueprints or high ranking staff
or even weapons in a few cases. Set them to go while you record and I guess as a
n added bonus, you can show us your luck with them because those missions aren't
guaranteed to work out all the time.
17) Always remember to check your loadout before you head out. You can research
better versions of the weapons you currently have but sometimes, you can forget
to equip them. To do that, check the weapon and if you see an empty star that go
es to the right, push right on the stick to make sure you have the correct versi
on selected. I accidentally forgot to equip my level 3 Riot SMG a few times and
I wondered why the hell the recoil was so bad.
18) Killing nets you a lower score and less GMP as a reward at the end of any mi
ssion. It's usually better to fulton the enemies or just leave them there. Avoid

killing if you can Brad (unless you just feel murderous then by all means, have
fun xD)
